Behind Your Birth Date

Visit this page and you'll know what to do...
http://www.paulsadowski.com/birthday.asp

This is what I got...

You entered: 9/28/1986
You were born on a Sunday
under the astrological sign Libra.
Your
Life path number is 7*.

(Underlined are what I believe hits me accurately)

*A Life Path 7 person is a peaceful and affectionate soul, and by nature rather reserved and analytical.
The overwhelming strength of the number 7 is reflected in the depth of thinking that is shown; you will garner knowledge from practically every source that you find.
Intellectual, scientific and studious, you don't accept a premise until you have dissected the subject and arrived at you own independent conclusion.
This is a very spiritual number and it often denotes a sort of spiritual wisdom that becomes apparent at a fairly early age. (Not sure about this one)
You need a good deal of quiet time to be with your own inner thoughts and dreams.
You dislike crowds, noise and confusion.
You are very thorough and complete in your work, the perfectionist who expects everyone else to be a meet a high standard of performance, too. (Only in things that I am experienced in)
You evaluate situations very quickly and with amazing accuracy.
You rely heavily on your experiences and your intuition, rather than accepting advice from someone; your hunches usually prove to be very accurate, and knowing this, you are one who tends to follow the directions they seem to guide.
It's easy for you to detect deception and recognize insincere people.
(Not sure about that)
You aren't one to have a wide circle of friends, but once you accept someone as a friend, it's for life.
You really aren't a very social person, and your reserve is often taken to be aloofness.
Actually, it's not that at all, but merely a cover up for your basic feeling of insecurity.
You actually like being alone, away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
In many ways, you would have fit in better in much earlier times when the pace of life was less hectic.

In the most negative use of the 7 energies, you can become very pessimistic, lackadaisical, quarrelsome, and secretive.
A Life Path 7 individual who is not living life fully and gaining through experiences, is a hard person to live with because of a serious lack of consideration and because there is such a negative attitude.
The negative 7 is very selfish and spoiled.
If you have any of the negative traits they are very difficult to get rid of because you tend to feel that the world really does owe you a living or in some way is not being fairly treated.
Fortunately, the negative 7 is not the typical 7, at least not without some mitigating positive traits.
This number is one that seems to have some major shifts from highs to lows.
Stability in feelings may be elusive for you.

The Julian calendar date of your birth is 2446701.5.
The golden number for 1986 is 11.
The epact number for 1986 is 19.
The year 1986 was not a leap year.

(Golden Number:

Where Does Your Beauty Lie?

Intelligent Beauty

Your Beauty lies in Intelligence.
Logical, wise and a book-worm.
You have a mature beauty and look that shows how smart you are. You rely solely on your logic to solve all your or anyone else's problems, which is a bit of a two-sided coin.
The fact makes you seem rather emotionless and cold to some people. Not everything can be solved with logic.
Despite it, many come to you for advice and love how smart you are, wondering if there is anything you don't know.
You probably don't wear much make-up as it distracts you from your studies, but you may wear a pair of glasses just because you like how you look in them, whether you need them or not.
For the most part, your looks mean little to you, which makes all the more attractive, especially when you're concentrated on something. Good for you. Now go get your next A+.

Dreams

Your Beauty lies in Dreams.
Day-dreamer, creative and forever lost in thoughts.
You're a dreamer, wanting more in your life than you have now. Though a lot of your dreams never seem to leave your own mind.
You've created your own little world inside that head of yours and you're most beautiful when your mind is in the clouds with sparkles in your eyes.
You'd rather be asleep than awake and people find it hard to have long conversations with you as you mind often wanders and you aren't a big fan of reality.
You are long and almost child-like probably with a great love for Fantasy or Science Fiction.
You're very creative and most likely love to write wonderful stories or draw and even sing, anything creative that you can use that vast imagination of yours.
You're a bit of a puzzle to people love to wonder as to what is going in your mind.

What Power is Compatible With You?

Got to try out another quiz... 'What Power is Compatible With You?'
Interested me cause I love the idea of having superpowers... hehe..
this is the result I got after doing the quiz...

~*~Result nr 11~*~

Your power is: Transportation

Explanation:
To simply matters you can, all in all, transport your way to places. This helps you get to places faster and be more efficent. In combat that is also good since your enemy will not know where you are and you can get suprise attacks on him/her.
For evil purposes you can break in to banks, etc and rob places.
For good purposes you can save people kidnapped in places (if you know where they are) etc.
As a person you are always on the go and don't like not having anything to do. You see boredom as useless and try to avoid it. Therefore you have many friends that can keep you occupied.
Other characteristics are that you're a nice and easy-going person, and maybe even popular. You are impulsive, energetic and just someone looking for a fun time and adventures.
People can't be bored with you.

Negative aspects:
You have a tendency to not stick with people and can get enemies when you're not loyal.
You can also back-talk people which will make you less liked.

What Power is Compatible With You?
brought to you by
Quizilla

----------------------------------

The above description partially suits me... especially about the boredom part.. haha...
besides that, this power of 'Transportation' just reminds me of Nightcrawler of the X-Men...

In regards of the negative aspects.... at least I'm a loyal type of guy...
not sure about 'back-talk'ing people.... maybe comes with my urge to get undeniable facts straight...

I got to read two other powers that suit my personality... though not completely...
Though... the negative aspect of the one with super strength just gets to me...

-------------------------

Your power is: Telekinesis

Explanation:
This power of yours means that you can make material things to move, like for e.g. making the remote control fly over you just by thinking it. As all powers, this is a great gift to have. It is also helping you out since it allows you to be lazy and have things brought to you without moving a finger.
But if you move over to the immoral side this power can be used as destroying peoples property or similar things.
As a person you are easy going and just like to have a good time. There is nothing wrong with that, but people may see you as incredibly lazy and irresponsible. You prefer being out watching a movie or something than staying home and doing the math assignment.

Your outlook is fairly positive but you are aware everything isn't as nice as you'd like it to be. But this doesn't stop you and even if you can be sensitive, you get over things pretty quickly.
In school you could be considered as the fun one among your friends and could get along with different categories of people fairly easy.
You mean no intentional harm on those around you, but some people may think you're too happy and/or stupid.

Negative aspects:
Because you don't like to have things depending on you, this power may be seen as just something cool you have, and not as a helping gift.
Also you can get too egoistical at times without bothering to care for others.
That is why it's good to do some self-reflecting every once in a while to see that you're not going overboard.

--------------------------

Your power is: Super Strength

Explanation:
Your gift is rather self-explaining. But to clear things up, you have been given a power that makes you extremely strong. This is of course speaking in pyshical terms.
When doing good deeds the power could be used as helping people in e.g. fights or those under a fallen building etc.
For bad purposes the power could simply kill/beat anyone until the gifted gets his way.
You are however as a person on the good side. You are the leader type and have a tendancy to look at the whole picture rather than details. That could make you come off as inconsiderate, but that's far from the truth.
You can be impulsive and aggressive but you mean no harm with it. Sometimes it can even save you.
If you were to be in a group with others who have super powers you would be focusing more on them and the situation rather than yourself. So to even it out, you can be egotistical at times, but it's because you ignore your needs every once in a while.
You are responsible and brave but could still be seen as reckless.

Negative aspects:
Since you focus on the team/family/group of friends you could start thinking that they don't care about you since they don't seem to look after you the way you do to them.
Also you could intentionally endanger yourself (even in everyday life) when doing descicions without thinking it through that much.
But a leader with more sense of responsibility does not however come off as reckless, but logical.

Hybrid's Blog, June Twenty-Fifth, Two Thousand and Five

Blank of FF IX - 'LIVE FREE'
Man... I think two weeks I didn't update my blog on what I've been doing huh?
don't worry, I'm not gonna write a LONG post just to recap those two weeks... I can't be bothered to even try...

Just been feeling lazy to write about my days....
So I'll just highlight on things that I feel I want to...

Some time ago, got to have a meeting with Madam Bibi, Director of the Pre-University Program of Curtin... together with eight Student Representatives from eight different Pre-U / Foundation groups...
Sabrina, Florence, Yii Yang, Johnna, Eddy, Augustine, Christopher, & Dillon...
The meeting was on a Friday afternoon.... June 17th....
was quite an interseting one too..... but no information discussed shall be disclosed...

Then, next day, had another meeting, regarding the coming Orientation Week...
Those that came were Serena, Ling, Benet, Kimmy, Havinesh, & Pierre...
Got to discuss on how to improve the O-Week... good ideas were gathered...
but I feel we would require more meetings and ideas to finalise things...

Last Wednesday night, got to go out and watch Batman Begins with Roger, Rudi, & Iqbal...
Boy, was there a problem that night... the movie we initially planned to watch was supposed to be at 9.15pm...
got to check on newspaper morning... movie show at 9.15pm...
got to check by coincidence online... movie show at 9.15pm...
but when Roger & I went to buy the tickets... NO MOVIE SHOW AT 9.15PM!!!!
All movie theater are used to show Initial D the Movie... STUPID!!

If it hadn't been so damned crowded.. the people behind the counter would SOOOO get a blasphemy from me... sheesh!!
This ain't the first time that darn Star Cineplex had gave wrong advertisement...
happen again.... no holding back... I am promising myself this...

Cause of that, we were forced to watch the movie at 10.45pm!!! The movie is supposedly about two hours... that means we'll be done around 1am!!!!
Sigh.. whatever..... got to watch the movie... and it was quite satisfying... though.... it wasn't really that great.... honestly...
will do a review on it...

Earlier that same Wednesday, early morning, had a meeting with some of the people at the Student Services with regards of the coming O-Week.. together with Benet.. and Nicholas who came later...
Told them of some of our ideas to improve the Orientation week... they were supportive...
and we got to settle some things.... and hopefully I'd be able to make myself feel better by filling the more of the gaps that are still in the plan... and there's a LARGE space in the plan that needs to be filled up...

Akane & Ranma - Nice pose & outfits
Sigh.... last night had Wushu practise... and boy has my left leg really strained itself...
just laying it down straight can cause it to feel pain.... sigh...
anyway... tomorrow, ain't going to practise... my leg needs recuperating...
besides... Cartoon Network is gonna show 15 back-to-back episodes of Batman the animated series...
and I don't plan to miss any of them!! hheehe!

Phantom of the Bat (Movie Review)

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
BATMAN: Mask of the Phantasm

Voice:
Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne aka Batman, Dana Delany as Andrea Beaumont, Hart Bochner as Arthur Reeves, Stacy Keach, Jr. as Phantasm and Carl Beaumont, Abe Vigoda as Salvatore 'Sal' Valestra, Efrem Zimbalist Jr. as Alfred Pennyworth, Mark Hamill as The Joker
Director:
Eric Radomski & Bruce W. Timm
Studio: Warner Bros

"Gotham City's Savior The Way He Was Meant To Be."
- Steve Persall, St. Petersburg Times

When the city's most feared gangsters are systematically eliminated, the Cape Crusader is blamed. But prowling the Gotham night is a shadowy new villain, the Phantasm, a sinister figure with some link to Batman's past. Can the Dark Knight elude the police, capture the Phantasm and clear his name?

The Phantasm
The ghostly Phantasm

Unmasking the Phantasm is just one of the twists in this dazzling animated feature. Discover all-new revelations about Batman's past, his archrival the Joker and Batman's most grueling battle ever - the choice between his love of a beautiful woman and his vow to be the defender of right. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is a mystery that is genuinely absorbing , suspenseful and moving (Cincinnati Enquirer).

Bruce together with Alfred, his ever-trustworthy butler
Reeves (on TV): What kind of city are we running when we depend on the support of a potential MADMAN?
ALFRED: (Stops the TV) Such rot, sir. Why, you're the very model of sanity. Oh, by the way, I pressed your tights and put away your exploding gas balls.
BRUCE: Thank you, Alfred.

After this movie, I can safely confirm that I can feel the emotions of any story's characters (especially in films), cause this movie just pulls the emotions right out of me and left me sad for Batman for quite a while! (A day or so... that's the longest a movie ever left such an emotional impact on me!!)
After watching this movie I was left thinking about all night as I tried to sleep!
This movie is truly one movie with a pleasurable start only to be killed by a depressing end, I mean it... the pleasure just gets killed!

Arthur Reeves after his encounter with the Joker
You find something funny, Reeves (City Councilman)?

Let's start with the story, which is undoubtedly the soul of this film... The story is what made this film so worthwhile to watch...
As Steve Persall said, this movie tells the story of Batman, the way he was meant to be.
Sure, Bruce Wayne or his alter ego could easily attract the ladies, but he was just never meant to be with anyone.. not even his first true love, Andrea Beaumont. (And the only one I know of.. unless Catwoman really did get with him)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Andrea: Nice footwork. Can you dance too?
A hot first kiss between Bruce Wayne & Andrea Beaumont

Let me just tell you what to expect to find out from this movie.
In this movie, we get to know how Bruce Wayne got started with his career to fighting crimes, but however, despite his incredible physiques and cunningness, he just couldn't strike fear into the criminals.
As the story progressed, we get to see how Bruce finally found the formula to strike extreme fear into the criminals, which I found had a lot to do with that first love of his, Andrea.
[SPOILER ALERT!]
Think about it, you've just got engaged to a beautiful lady, who you love so much enough to go against a lifetime vow you made to your murdered parents, only to find the next day, a note from her saying to forget about her.
[SPOILER END]
Also in the movie, it hints how the famous Batmobile got into the idea of the billionaire Bruce Wayne.

Grave of Victoria Beaumont, Andrea's motherAndrea & Bruce (At the back)
Andrea (from visiting her mother's grave): So tell me, with all that money and power, why do you always look like you want to jump off a cliff?
Bruce: Why should you care?
Andrea: I don't. Mother was asking.

I love the characters. I had quite a shock when suddenly Joker came into the picture. It was so totally unexpected for me!
All this while when I saw the advertisements of this movie on Cartoon Network, I had expected no other villain but Phantasm...
hehee.. so this movie like... scored high on my 'Good Movie' gauge.. hehe!

Salvatore Valestra and The Joker
Gotham's World Fair - Sal Valestra carefully walks in and gasps when the rusty fair robots start singing.
Suddenly, an unseen machine gun tears the robots' heads off.

Joker: I hate that song.
[What's Sal (an aging crime lord) doing meeting up with the Joker?

What deal are they trying to make?]

Speaking of Joker, this movie also shows a little of Joker's true identity.. though it never mentions anything on how he became how he is, permanent white skin, green hair and an abnormally wide grin.

Bruce & Andrea - The PastBruce & Andrea - The Present
[Just when you thought there might just be a chance to rekindle their love...]
Batman: Sal's having company tonight. Don't wait up.
Alfred: Meaning, I trust that once you're done with him, you'll be seeing her (Andrea)?
Batman: You think you know everything about me, don't you?
Alfred: I diapered your bottom, I bloody well ought to... SIR!

Let's talk about the romance between Bruce & Andrea.
This is one romance story that I find more depressing than that of Romeo & Juliet.
Their relationship were never objected, they could've been so happy together. But circumstances after circumstances just ruined their relationship and their lives.
Even in the end, when all was set and done, they just never could be together again.
You should watch the movie all the way til it ends with Andrea. Man, that scene was just stunning for me.
The scene proceeded and ended with one sentence that just struck me deep.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Andrea: I am now alone.

You really need to watch the whole movie in order to get that same impact I felt when I saw that.
The graphics of this film is classical, as it is quite an old film... Must it's still enjoyable and comfortable to watch.
This movie should be a 'MUST' watch for those of you who are fans of Batman or even just interested with the Caped Crusader.
Who knows.. for those of you unfamiliar with the Dark Knight, after watching this movie, you might just get interested yourself. (Same goes for "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker")

This is one movie I will not forget for a long time, if not ever.

Phantasm VS Batman
Confrontation between the Mask & the Bat - How shall it end?

City Councilman VS Clown Prince of Crime
Reeves (speaking on phone): You're telling me there were four precincts on Batman's heels and he still got away?
Reeves (hangs up the phone): Unbelievable!
Joker (at the door): Tsk, tsk. And to think our tax money goes to pay those jerks.

Going BATS and beyond with the Joker! (Movie Review)

BATMAN BEYOND: RETURN OF THE JOKER

Voice: Will Friedle as Terence 'Terry' McGinnis aka the new Batman, Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne aka the original Batman, Mark Hamill as Jack Napier aka the Joker & also Jordan Price, Angie Harmon as Commissioner Barbara Gordon, Dean Stockwell as Communications Engineer Mr. Timothy 'Tim' Drake and many more!
Director:
Curt Geda

Official Website:

In latter-21st-century Gotham City, The Jokerz, a street gang enamored of the city's infamous Clown Prince Of Crime, is breaking into a high-tech engineering plant to steal a powerful generator, a crime stopped by the new Batman (Terry McGinnis) and which puzzles Terry and his mentor, the elderly original Batman Bruce Wayne. The reason for this and other "geek junk" thefts is a mystery even to The Jokerz gang, who are now working for someone claiming to be the original Joker himself. When he makes an appearence at a charity function attended by Bruce Wayne (cover to steal another generator), the Joker taunts Wayne, and later sends his minions to attack Terry McGinnis while he attacks the Batcave. But the original Joker died forty years earlier, and why does this new Joker want high-tech items? When a shaken Barbara Gordon explains the fate of the original Joker, Terry begins to piece the twin mysteries together, culimating in a confrontation with the Joker that literally threatens the very existence of Gotham City. (Summary written by
Michael Daly)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The Joker: It'd be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. Oh what the heck I'll laugh anyway. HA HA HA HA HA!

Oooh! here's my review of this movie! Ooh! I am so excite to write about it!!
Namely for obvious reasons that I am a HUGE fan of Bob Kane's supervillain of his Batman series, JOKER!!! He is my ABSOLUTE favorite supervillain of ALL TIME!!

The new Joker
The Joker's new look. Is this the real Joker that supposedly died forty years ago??

Just kidding!
Bonk: I was just kidding boss.
The Joker: Me too.

Well.... let's first talk about the story..
It is excellent... this movie combines the futuristic Batman Beyond with the original Batman together to tell its story...
It is a complete mystery of how the 'legendary' Joker comes back to Gotham City, who according to the original Batman, Bruce Wayne, had died about 40 years ago...
With many theories shot out by the new Batman, Terry McGinnis...
One of his theories, he mentioned being "placed in suspended animation due to floating around in a block of ice". This is a reference to the Marvel Comics character Captain America, who was found floating in ice by the Avengers in the '60s.
(more trivia informations)
In the middle of the story, Barbara Gordon, once known as Batgirl, finally tells Terry of what happened long ago, when Batman's supposedly final encounter with Joker.
And I tell ya... Joker really outdone himself... truly showing how sadistic and insane he is...
His last dasdardly deed involved the young Boy Wonder, Robin, which would explain why the old boy himself, Timothy 'Tim' Drake comes into play in this movie...
I am telling ya, that flashback is quite a disturbing one... what Joker did...
Watch it and you'll get what I mean...
The story truly played with its many characters well.. Even a short look at Terry's family somewhere in the movie had a reason, which very much later comes into play.. though only a small part...

The Jokerz Gang
The Jokerz Gang. The two sisters are Dee Dee [Delia & Deidre Dennis].
Then there's Ghoul and Chucko. Need I tell ya which one's Woof?
One more member missing in picture is Bonk.)
The Joker: Bonk?... Oh, right! Dead.

Now... let's talk about the characters....
Nah! I'm not gonna talk about Joker only.... cause every character was very interesting to watch...
It is very interesting to note the progress of the main few characters, namely Terry & Bruce.. Terry's goal to redeem himself and Bruce's annoying loner's attitude...
Watch the movie and hopefully you'll notice something that I realised...
The appearance of old characters, such as Batgirl, Robin & even Joker's lover, Harley Quinn had their purposes... and weren't there just to boost viewer's enthusiasm to wanna come and watch the movie just to witness these characters come into play...
Though originally, I wanted to watch this movie was exactly cause of Joker & Harley... hehehe!

Scary confrontation, Batman & Joker
Batman: I'll break you in two...
The Joker: Oh, please, if you had the guts for that kind of fun, you'd have done it years ago.
A frightening encounter between the original Batman against Joker & Harley. What happened forty years ago?

The villainous couple, Joker & Harley
Harley Quinn: Sweetie, get mommy's bazooka.

Now... the looks of the movie...
simple... it's nice, colorful and clean.... compare the graphics on the original Batman & Joker with the old Batman series and you'll see a BIG difference... not sure about the new Batman Beyond series... I'm not familiar with that series..
The drawings of the environments, camera views/angles, characters, etc are just excellent and enjoyable & comfortable to watch...
Besides that.... the voices of each character are greatly roleplayed..
I love most of Joker's punchlines... sadistically evil & plain mean.. yet funny! haha!
I also loved one line by Harley, which was already quoted earlier... reason being cause of the rhythm of the voice and how she spoke that really sound motherly like.. yet just so plain wrong!! Watch the movie and you'll catch what I mean!! For sure!!

Joker meets the new guy
The Joker: Ah, the new boy. Ears are too long and I miss the cape. But not too shabby. Not too shabby at all.

What else need I say about this movie, besides GO AND WATCH IT!!
By far, I've come across quite a number of movie reviews commenting that this movie is the best so far in the animated Batman movies...
which I see no problem with!!

Terry McGinnis, the new Batman
Terry McGinnis. Is he truly Batman? Or beyond that?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
One last message from the Joker himself.
The Joker: Don't like the movie? I've got slides.

Just loving my days! hehe!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Wow... one week gone just like that...
well.. no update on my blog cause there's been nothing special happening...
so I'll just have a very simple summary of my week...

Weekdays... the usual classes... usual busy-ness... "jam-packed" with work last Thursday and Friday.. sigh...
Thursday morning also had a meeting with Ms. Fidella, Head of the Student Service.. togather with Benet & Nicholas (Both of Student Council) regarding the coming Orientation for next semester in the end of July..
got the ideas of what we needed to do.. I'll have to be doing a plan of the orientation.. sigh.... hopefully everything will turn out all right...
I can still recall.. that Thursday afternoon, I was supposed to be joining Benet and some other of the Student Council to another dialogue session with the big staff members of Curtin..
but honestly, the whole day I didn't feel like going to it... even ever since I got the message about it from Benet, I believe two days ago... sigh...
However, at the final moment I completely bailed out on the meeting... Sorry Benet...

Then, Friday... I was only jampacked with work in the morning.... Physics tutorial... then some of my own work... then had to go home with my brother an hour after noon...
this whole weekend I spent a lot of my time on the computer.. and not online most of the time spent!
majority of my time was spent playing The Sims 2: University!! It's such an addictive game!
maybe it's just because of the attachment I have with the characters I created... hehe!

Well... besides my leisure times and work.... I have been participating with Wushu practises... following the confirmed time of practises...
And man, have my body been aching.. hahaha!
especially my left thigh... sheesh.... ever since the first day of practise that I came back to it...
but no worries... I'll catch up with the rest soon enough.. once my legs are capable to stretch straighter than ever before... then they'll have a tough competitor to rival with during practises... HEHEH!!!!

anyway... one joke to think about before I continue with my blog...
Make's you think twice about promising something you don't intend to keep forever..

===================================

Anyway.. this week I got to watch THREE movies.. hehehe!
one movie was the old film from the mid-late 90's...
'Patch Adams', starring Robin Williams...
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Sigh... I like this movie... hehehe.... why do I happen to watch such an old film like this?
it's for my Writing & Research Skills 062's research essay, titled 'Is laughter truly the best medicine?'...
hehee... this movie revolved around a real-life man who aspired to be a doctor to help people by brightening up their days, with laughter, fun and joy.
I love the storyline, and its characters...

Then another movie... this one I believe people will be laughing and teasing me after they got to know about it.. but whatever...

yup.. I watched 'Piglet's BIG Movie'...
it's not that I'm a fan of the 'Winnie the Pooh' animated series or anything...
is just that got interested to know what was the story of the movie, revolving around that cute beloved character, Piglet of the Hundred Acre Woods...
The movie is summarily about how special and valuable the little Piglet was as a friend to everyone else in the world of the Hundred Acre Woods...

and NOW! my favorite part of today's blog...
the THIRD movie!! that I watch just last night....
BATMAN BEYOND: Return of the Joker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I was SO anticipating this film ever since I saw the advertisement few weeks ago! two weeks if not mistaken!
I SO(!!) wanna watch it!
Joker is my absolutely MOST FAVORITE animated super-villain there ever was!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I just love Joker very much!
His cheery personality... his wide, evil, sadistic and synical grin... his high-spirited laugh!
Oooh! I just love him!!

Another reason why I wanted to watch this movie is because of that girl in the above picture... the one with the bazooka... hehe...
That's Harle... Joker's lover... I wanted to know about the two of them... and more about her...
I found this picture and about this film a LONG time ago somewhere online...
ever since then, I had always wanted to watch this movie when I got the chance...
and boy! was I shocked when I realised my chance has arisened when I saw the advertisement on Cartoon Network!! WOOHOO!!!

I loved this movie!!
I actually waited patiently, without switching channels, whenever came the advertisements throughout the movie.. that was HOW MUCH I didn't want to miss a moment of it!!
Will definitely be writing a review of this movie some time soon...
til then... enjoy the pictures I have posted now...
HEHEHE!!

The Story of the One-Eyed Mother

I just got to read a story posted in the Bulletin Board in Friendster...
And I loved it....I especially loved how it ended....
an ending that really gives you, the reader, something to think about...
this story had no definite title.... so I'll just call it...

'The Story of the One-Eyed Mother'

My mom only had one eye.
I hated her... she was such an embarassment..
My mom ran a small shop at a flea market.
She collected little weeds and such to sell...
Anything for the money we needed
She was such an embarassment.
There was this one day during elementary school..
It was field day, and my mom came.
I was so embarassed. How could she do this to me?

I threw her a hateful look and ran out.

The next day at school...
"Your mom only has one eye?!?!" ..and they taunted me.
I wished that my mom would just dissappear from this world
So I said to my mom, "
Mom.. Why dont you have the other eye?!
If you're only gonna make me a laughingstock, why dont you just die?!!!
"
My mom did not respond..
I guess I felt a little bad, but at the same time, it felt good to think that I had said what I'd wanted to say all this time..
Maybe it was because my mom hadn't punished me,

but i didnt think that i had hurt her feelings very badly.

That night...
I woke up, and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water.
My mom was crying there, so quietly, as if she was afraid that she might wake me.
I took a look at her, then turned away.
Because of the thing i had said to her earlier,

there was something pinching at me in the corner of my heart.
Even so, I hated my mother who was crying out of her one eye.

So I told myself that I would grow up and become successful.
Cause I hated my one-eyed mom and our desperate poverty..

Then I studied real hard.
I left my mother and came to Seoul and studied,
and got accepted in the Seoul University with all the confidence I had.

Then, I got married.
I bought a house of my own.
Then I had kids, too..
Now I'm living happily as a successful man.
I like it here because it's a place that doesnt remind me of my mom.

This happiness was getting bigger and bigger, when..

What?!
Who's this?!

...It was my mother...
..Still with her one eye.
It felt as if the whole sky was falling apart on me.
My little girl ran away, scared of my mom's eye.
And I asked her, "Who are you?!"
"I dont know you!!!" as if trying to make that real.

I screamed at her, "How dare you come to my house and scare my daughter!"

"GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!"

And to this, my mother quietly answered,
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address,"
and she dissappeared out of sight.

Thank good ness... She doesnt recognize me..
I was quite relieved.

I told myself that I wasn't going to care,

or think about this for the rest of my life.
Then a wave of relief came upon me...

One day, a letter regarding a school reunion came to my house.

So, lying to my wife that I was going on a business trip, I went.
After the reunion, I went down to the old shack,

that I used to call a house... Just out of curiosity

There, I found my mother fallen on the cold ground.
But I did not shed a single tear.
She had a piece of paper in her hand....

It was a letter to me.

"My son...
I think my life has been long enough now..

And... I wont visit Seoul anymore...
But would it be too much to ask if I wanted you
to come visit me once in a while?
I miss you so much.. And I was so glad when I
heard you were coming for the reunion.
But I decided not to go to the school.
....

For you...
And I'm sorry that I only have one eye,

and I was an embarassment for you.

You see, when you were very little,

you got into an accident, and lost your eye.
As a mom, I couldn't stand watching you
having to grow up with only one eye...
So I gave you mine...
I was so proud of my son that was seeing a whole
new world for me, in my place, with that eye.

I was never upset at you for anything you did..
The couple times that you were angry with me..
I thought to myself, 'It's because he loves me..'

My son... Oh, my son...
"

Singing and enjoying them!

Phew.. been a few days since I updated my blog, huh?
Let's just give a brief summary....
cause frankly.. from last Friday til yesterday and even earlier this morning, I had been busy playing The Sims 2: University... (Feel like making a review of it already..)

Last Friday night, had Wushu practise.... so tiring.. sweated so much... as usual...
I'm a guy who sweats a lot....
I also went for the practise yesterday morning (Sunday)....
they actually planned for another practise last night, but I didn't feel up to it......

anyway..... last week, from Wednesday til yesterday, was actually a holiday for me..
that was why I was able to play that game so much.....
during the holiday, I was able to load myself up with some songs from the games, Kingdom Hearts & Final Fantasy (mainly X & X-2)... and I am so addicted to the songs!

Kingdom Hearts - 'Simple & Clean' by Hikaru Utada
Final Fantasy X - 'Sudeki Da Ne'
Final Fantasy X-2 - '1000 words'

I have a few of the remix version of the particular songs and even just the piano instrumental version...
just love the songs!!

The Day Before Today..... & Also Tomorrow

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
I wish I had style like that.. haha.... but like as if....

anyway.. forgot to add something that I did on Tuesday night... something that I had neglected for a very long time............................................. Wushu practise..

That Sunday night when I talked with the coach, he asked me if I want to continue to participate in a competition..
after a while of thinking, I told why not..... lesser activities coming up.. and I need the exercise..

I passed the Monday night practise cause I was not prepared for it... mentally I meant... hehee...
Tuesday I went.. Sigh... boy did I tire quickly... my stamina is low... dissapointing sigh...
anyway... I was told to focus more on my spear and staff handling....as I would be competing in that field instead of the others...since I was familiar in that area already...
Sigh... tiring... sweaty... aching... the training was about three hours long for me....
I left the Indoor Stadium, with a strained right arm and tired thighs...

the next morning, I woke up to a strange ache in my right bicep....
this Wednesday, just stayed at home the whole day....
tried to play The Sims 2: University that morning... but then everyone else wanted to play it.. sigh..
so the whole afternoon I spent online on this computer upstairs instead...
night time I got to play the game... but then again.. only for a while.. cause everyone else wanted to use the computer.. sigh... troublesome...
so decided to just call it the day and sleep...

Slept til 11.30am... 12 hours later... boy, my arm just felt worse.... and this time.. along with some other parts of my body.. like my abdomen and a little bit on my chest...
showered... lunch... then got to play The Sims 2: University for nearly the whole afternoon....
boy, just enjoy playing those three characters.... this game is just churning ideas in my head... cause.. it is like me creating a past for these three already... hehe!

Hybrid's Log, June first, two thousand and five

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Hmm... being bored here... so spend time to do my blog...
last log was last Thursday, with the Student Council meeting...

Friday... Sigh.. initially, I had thought this day would be so darn troublesome...
early morning, come to school for a Physics tutorial... following that, meeting up with Mr. Arnold & Ms. Azlin to ask permission to take some of their lecture time to talk with the foundation students...
a short while later, just spent time at the computer lab and then the cafeteria.. and after lunch had a Physics group discussion at the Chemistry laboratory.. to finish up our group project...
then soon, even before the discussion was done, I had to go drive back home to have my brother come to campus....
after coming back to campus, I had to rush to the Lecture Theater to meet up with the foundation students... regarding the Student Representative thing...
after that, went to do my work at the computer lab... there, Roger suddenly messaged me, asking if I would wanna go to watch the movie, 'Madagascar'...
I replied that it was fine with me, and sent out sms invitations to a lot of people... sigh... my credit...
most of them didn't reply me, so I take it that they weren't going...
most of those that replied, said they couldn't make it...
However, later turned out that some of them were planning to watch Star Wars Episode III... but Roger & I stuck to Madagascar...
had a bit of a problem when going to Parkson for the movie...
by the time we arrived, we were running late already... and we had thought to take away some fast food and eat in the movie....
at McDonald, the queue was SO LONG!! for two counters... one more counter was.. supposedly closed but there was no sign.. sheesh.. and the person behind the counter right next to the 'closed' counter didn't bother to say anything to me... sheesh... some friendly people...
anyway.. I actually got up the courage to ask the people in the line if I could cut in line cause 'I was in a hurry'...
it was a bit of a hassle, but they were considerably generous enough to let me go ahead first.... thank goodness!!

however, despite that we ended up missing the 9pm slot cause there were too many people already in the movie... so we had to go for the 10.30pm slot...
while waiting for the time, ate at KFC.... the ones that decided to go watch Madagascar with me and Roger were Gretchel, Snow Jae & VJ...
after eating that, we just sat and talked there... and soon enough, it was coming to the movie's time...
and well, I've already written my movie's review of Madagascar... Great movie to watch...

"You've insulted the freaks!" quote from King Julian of the lemurs.

my weekend was not much...
I don't recall anything much happening.....
oh, there was one thing though...
Sunday night, got to talk with my Wushu group's main coach... discussed with him regarding starting a club at Curtin..
he told me everything that I should do for the time being.... before next semester starts...

Monday, came to school early to take care of my shift at the Student Council room....
and then, after lunch, went for my Writing and Research Skills 062 class at 1pm... finalise my essay assignment...
after that, got to go home and then got to finish up that assignment.
night time, got to hang at Imperial Mall with my younger cousin, Jonathan, looking for games...
I was in particularly looking for Kingdom Hearts... I even brought my memory card... why?
cause if you followed my blog, some time ago, I wrote about the game unable to load the ending movie of the game...
and after trying the game with Jonathan's PS2... it still didn't work, so we concluded that it was the CD that was the problem..
so, I brought my memory card so that I could test the Kingdom Hearts CD to see if it could run the ending movie...

it was a bit of a hassle again here...
initially, there wasn't any other customer.. but as I was playing along, trying to get everything done with... about halfway through, a customer turned up and wanted to test a few games...
and one of the workers there (a more experienced one I assumed) was getting annoyed that I was playing so long... while supposedly just testing the game...
she asked me a few times if I was done... took me a little to make it clear to her about my problem.. that I was not testing the game itself, but was testing if it could run the ending movie...
After a while longer, turns out the CD IS able to play the ending movie.. which was a relief for me...
bought the game, along with Star Ocean: Till The End of Time...
sigh.. can't wait to I am able to play finish Kindgom Hearts and watch the ending completely!!

Tuesday, after accompanying my brother to have a blood check at Pathlab somewhere in the city and then back home, drove to campus early in the morning...
I can still remember that that morning my lower back was aching SO much... it was annoying me all along the way to campus...
once at campus, went to the Student Council room to rest myself on the couch there...
I was surprised to find Kimmy & Michelle doing their assignments there... but I just resume to lay myself on the couch while studying the lecture notes for Physics... test within one and a half hour later...

sigh.. I didn't think I did well for my Physics test.. sigh....
lunch at the cafeteria.. and then I went to the computer lab.... I couldn't stand being outdoors that day cause the haze was just TERRIBLE...
that morning when I was driving to campus, I saw a LARGE column of smoke raising in the horizon, and I was like... "D*mn those stupid b*st*rds... bush fire? so early in the morning? Who are you trying to kid??"
anyway... just spent my time in front of the computer, while enjoying some songs from my mp3 player... I just love my mp3 player...

I got to see alot of my group mates and course mates rushing to catch up and finish their English essay assignments in the lab...
sigh... no comment on that.... except...
I do last minute works myself... but doing last minute work at the VERY last moment is definitely NOT what I would like to end up doing.

anyway.. went for Chemistry tutorial, which was supposed to be the time that Ms. Lau returns our test paper and we do our corrections to see what we've done wrong in the test...
I had thought I did terrible for it, but I was surprised that I was still able to round up some good marks for it...
hehe... though that don't mean I passed the test... just that I scored more than I thought I could...
anyway... got to understand more of the question... and they actually turned out easier than I had initially thought...
after that one hour period... got to a little Chemistry group discussion with Ilma & Darshana... and soon everything was done...

I then headed back home... dinner... then got to install the PC game, expansion pack, The Sims 2: University..
installed... and then got to play it a little... created three students in the new university setting...
hehehe... these three students I created based on three characters in my detective story that I am currently still writing (though not for a while now); the young assistant detective, his fiancee, and the thief... hehee... this actually helps give me a better image of the characters as I write the story, I find it...
