Sigh... the second day of the FINAL EXAMS... PHYSICS!!!

Well... tried my best... went through the exam... and I'm somewhat glad that it's over with....
wrote more than I thought I would.. but so far that hasn't always meant the best for me... WHATEVER!!

the IT paper was easier for me.... man.. wrote and wrote and wrote until my hand was sore... ouch....
so troublesome... write, write, write and then realise got error in my program... then have to fix the whole program... #&*N IT!!!
whatever!!! Those two tests are over!!

Tomorrow is Maths 063 and Critical Thinking 060... Well... actually this two shouldn't be too difficult for me....
maybe just need a little revising... but nothing that critical... sigh.. which I can't say the same for Chemistry 063 this Friday.... sigh....
whatever lah... looking at the bright side.. it'll soon be OVER!!!!
I shall not be broken by the stress and tension of the exams!!!!

First day of the dreaded FINAL EXAMS

The first day of the Final Exams... well... only one test paper for me... Academic English 061...

Arrived on campus early this morning... Azie had told me before that Nadia would be sending her to campus...
Alone.. I just waited for the others (my classmates) at the cafeteria...
as I waited, I was thinking about how the English exam format was going to be...
Just to make sure of the questions I need to prepare myself for... I went to find Ms. Anita, my Academic English lecturer...
At the same time, I went to look at where we are supposed to be taking the exam... just in case, people might come to ask me....
Eventually I got to do all of the above and more... it was already time to go to the exam room!
I got there and took my seat...

It wasn't so hard... for me anyway.... Though some questions I really just wrote crap... like the last two questions...
Besides that, I felt quite lucky cause Ms. Anita happened to be the examiner for the room I was in. (Yay! ^_^)
Was done in an hour's time.... I took a short nap for a while there, thinking that I had to stay in the room til the end of the exam period.... but soon, Ms. Anita asked me if I was done... I nodded, and then she took my papers... then allowed me to leave....
Liz (who was also in the same room as I) handed up hers as soon as she saw me about to leave.

Then together went to the cafeteria where we sat with Nadia who apparently was done wiht her exam too....
the two girls ate while we talked....
so peaceful..... barely anyone was around....

when the exam time finally ended... the cafeteria became quite crowded...
I got to meet with Azie then... who sat with Mun, Evelyn and some other fo her classmates...
We ate lunch together...
Azie had another exam paper that afternoon... Information Technology 061...
After some talks and some laughs... I joined Krishna, Hari, Darshana, Jac Lee, Jorden, Ilma, Albert, Yu Yen, Marilyn & Tiong at the library...
We studied Physics 063 and IT 064 together.... or at least.. most of us did....

Well....nothing much happened lah today... other than the exam...
sigh.. tomorrow.. Physics exam... IT still ok but Physics.... sigh...
hopefully two questions from the last semester's paper will come out.... then I can be sure that I can pass....
Wish me luck!

F R I E N D S - No specific season...

Yesterday had been a good day... for me anyway....

OK... First... the whole afternoon, *tried* studying Physics in the library on campus... together with Azie... occassinal friends that were with us were Renee, Mun & Darshana...
Throughout the day, we got to be with other friends as well.... Amos, Kimmy, Michelle, Ehon, Nadia, Hari & Edmund...

Evening, after dropping Azie, Mun and Darshana at Lutong Villa, I went back home to get ready to go out with Roger to Sea Horse... a bistro where some old friends of mine were going...
They were studying outside of Miri... some within Malaysia... some overseas.... that's why I went to join them despite the final exams are getting near...

Jacky, Cindy, Peng Ju, Yiu Kiat, Tina, Ching Tung, Tong Fang and some other... all old friends from either since high school or even since primary school....
We ate, drank, talked, laughed, etc there for a few hours....
at the end of it, we had a little 'Happy Birthday' for Ee Wen, whose birthday was soon to come...
after the food and everything is done, we paid, then Jacky and some others wanted to continue the night elsewhere.... and play some pool as well...
So went to Discovery... yet another bistro... seems to be that Jacky is familiar with the people there... (shrugs)
anyway... we had fun... we talked, laughed some more til it was midnight....
then I just HAD to go.... Jacky wanted to continue on with the night because he won't be staying in Miri that long....
Oscar helped to send me back home....

Sigh... It's been so long since I've even SEEN some of these guys..... especially Peng Ju...
Over a few years he's been gone to Australia since High School...
Sigh.. it feels great to have meet with these guys again... sigh...

Another day of supposed studying.... X_X

Yeah... it's just that bad.... Was suppose to do some more study... but instead didn't do much of it... sigh....

Morning,
Got up at 9.30am... immediately rushed to get ready to leave for campus....
then realised Nadia had SMS me... asking me to help her with Maths...
Of course I complied to help her... Actually, last night, made plan to go to Azie's place to join her and Mun to study together... but nevermind that....
I supposed it was better that I went to campus to study anyway....
This morning, drove to Azie's house to return her father's Malay shirt that was still with me since Hari Raya...
Then drove to campus to meet with Nadia in the library.
Did Maths together til 11.30am when Nadia felt like walking around... so we went off to take a look at the Internal marks she'd accumulated.
Just as we've left the Admin & Library Building, Abel SMSed me.... Guess what?
He invited me to join him for lunch at Dynasty...
Since I was with Nadia, I knew I'd to invite her with me.
Lucky! Abel belanja us! Hehe!! =D

Afternoon,
Nadia wasn't really happy with the Internal marks she'd accumulated... which were, honestly, good enough for me.. but it's her, not me....
I drove the both of us to Dynasty... with a few wrong turns at the end of our road trip... xp
Iqbal got there before we did and was with Abel who was attending to a few old friends of his.
Hahaha, we had quite some good laughs... after Abel's friends left, Iqbal commented that they would now think of us as crazy maniacs or something of that sort...
I wouldn't mind even if they do... Makes us harder to be forgotten.. hehehe!

Anyway.. we spent time together for a few hours... nice talks, good laughs, great company, comfortable environment... it was just stress-relieving....
Then... 3.30pm, Nadia and I finally left for campus again. Nadia wanted to drive back home in her own car.
Once back on campus... Nadia went to get her things and then went off...
I went to finsih my Maths... which didn't take me long...
Once I was done it was 4.30pm.... then headed back home....

Tomorrow continue more with my 'studying'.... sigh..... definitely need help....

Plain start... meaningful end...

Well.... let me just explain what happened on this day...

Woke up at between 6.30 til 7am.... Did some online stuff....
prepared myself to go out.... then before 10.30am, drove to campus.... to join Azie to study together...
Spent hours studying at the library.... well... I tried to study anyway....
jolt down all of the Physics fomulas that I found through my lecture notes...
and then I found the time already entering evening....
well.... it's not that there were a lot to jolt down.. it's just that I've just been busy along the way.....

ONE - had to go meet with Hadrian, the new Student Affairs Officer, on the Student Ambassador thing....
He explained to me briefly of what this Student Ambassador thing is about....
for some reason.. the way he explained it... it seems that the Student Ambassador or.. as he mentioned it... Curtin Ambassador... is more of less like Curtin Volunteers...
volunteering to help out with whatever activities in Curtin... such as, he mentioned, John Curtin Month & Orientation....
this made me wanted to ask him if Curtin Ambassador had anything to do with CV!... but I just kept my mouth shut....
the current main activity to prepare for would be the Orientation Week 2005....
he explained that they'll do all of the planning... we, the Curtin Ambassador, are just going to help out to facilitate and be 'friends', role models, etc to the new students...
though he also added that there will be empty slots during the O-Week that we can think of some activities of our own to have fun with the students....
He explained that this coming O-Week will more or less be runned like before.... but we'll have to see how 'alike' it is next sem...
For your information, we, Curtin Ambassadors, who want to be involve in the O-Week 2005 will need to return to Curtin on Feb 17, 18 & 19... for some briefings and everything before the O-Week itself...

TWO - Last week I forgotten to hand up my Progress Sheet for Maths... and also missed out to finish the latest three work..... since the due date was last Friday, I just thought to just pass up the sheet anyway....
even without the last three signs, I'm confident that I'll be able to pass my Maths anyway... but it seems Ms. Jane doesn't care about that....
she asked me to finish them and passed them up to her by latest this Friday....
since then, I had to do Maths... instead of studying for Physics... sigh...

THREE - I also went to check out my Internal marks for my courses... like Chemistry, Physics and English.... Well.... it's all right lah.... if I can pass my final exams papers, then I am sure to pass my foundation.... thank my goodness...
For Physics, I have to thank Albert & Vun Jiun for taking care of the lab reports and everything.... even you two, I'd probably would not've gotten as much mark as I did for Physics....
For Chemistry, I have to thank Albert, Ling Khing, Yu Yen & Marilyn for taking care of most of the Chemistry assignment, while I had been busy with other activities....
sigh.... I feel so guilty for not being more contributing to the project....

FOUR - I had the occasional breaks to look at some photos in Azie's laptop... together with Nadia when she came to join us later that afternoon....

FIVE - Azie and I had a long while of lunch break....

anyway.... Azie went back home following Nadia....
I went back home..... took a quick shower and got ready for Wushu that night...
hehe... tonight's Wushu was somewhat more special than before..
that is because two of my close friends were finally going to join me for the first time.... Roger & Nellie.. plus another friend of mine who has already been to more than five classes.. Adrian Foo...
not only that... I got to meet with two new ones too... younger and no one that I knew of....
seemed that that night we had quite a lot of trainees.... that's rare...
anyway.. it was fun.... and somewhere during the training... I received a call from Abel...
Actually, earlier that evening, Seryna had SMS me about a sudden party that Abel's parents threw for him that night.... and asked me to join them... but I replied that I couldn't...
Abel called to ask me to go because his mother actually requested for me to join.... well... not exactly request but she knew my name so she mentioned it.... [Nice eggs!]

10pm or so... Wushu was done.. and I asked Adrian to help send me to Abel's place...
Good thing for me I can still remember the road to his place....
Got there soon enough... and immediately, I realized everyone was like... calling out my name!
Man.... we sure had a lot of fun and laughs that night! Especially because of Abel's drunk brother! HILARIOUS!!!
It was a great night.... though.. silly of me to have left my HP in Adrian's car!!!
sigh... definitely had to contact my mother about this..... so used Abel's....
sigh... cause of the absence of my HP with me... ended up returning home at 1.30am!! [Thanks, Bella!]
sigh..... hahaha.. but it was definitely fun!

man.... woke up this morning to find BIG bags under my eyes.... sigh.... Hehehe!

Tuesday, November 23, 2004

All for one day & one day for all again!!

Another day spent with most of my friends!!

Morning,
Woke up early cause Roger & Adrian Foo planned to come to my place that morning....
but then cause of traffic (according to them) they came later than planned...
watched 'MythBuster'... Coke-cola definitely makes a GREAT medium to clean chromes off a car's bumper, according to the show, and also most of the myth about the Coke's 101 uses are false, though they only showed ten of the myths behind Coke...
another proven myth behind Coke is that it definitely can erode a tooth a lot if left for a very long period of time, like 24 hours....
Man... should've recorded the show....

Anyway.. after watching Dodgeball DVD (Not bad... humor was all right.. but mostly just sillyness) ... headed to campus, the three of us...
I needed to hand up my Book Review to my Academic English teacher... did that and got to show Roger & Adrian around campus...
Adrian, along with some other friends, would be joining Curtin by next year.... Roger is still deciding....
after spending some time on campus... headed back to my place.... along the way, dropped Adrian back at his place...
Got home.. put some of my things down.... and then headed out again.. to pick up Lish...
then went to Boulevard for lunch...

Afternoon,
spent some time around Boulevard before we went to our usual badminton spot again...
an afternoon of badminton.... with mostly the same guys again...
Hahaha, I felt somewhat not energetic for some reason that afternoon.... but then, at my last game, i did quite well.... but I don't take full credit as I had a really experienced partner in my double team....

Night,
Oh yeah.. here comes the main part of my blog.... hehehe!
Abel invited me to join him and the others to watch movie that night...
Lucky for me... my mother agreed to pick me to Parkson that night....
Abel & the others haven't arrive.. so I wandered around the complex... looking for a present for a particular friend's birthday that was coming after my final exams...
Some time after, met Sara who led me to Abel and the others, Seryna, Snow Jae, VJ & Jenny at McDonald's....
They'd already bought the tickets for the movie, Taxi....
we still had time before the movie... we ate while waiting for Bella...
Hahaha, it seemed there was more to a particular story between VJ & Bella that I had expected... hahaha!
which added so much more to Abel & the others' teasings and laughs... hahaha!
Anyway... we watched the movie... and it was a great laugh!
The movie had good jokes.. some of the comedy may seem too stupid or silly sometimes, they are still funny enough to make you laugh anyway!!
And the Brazillian ladies in the movie were really beautiful...
the movie had a good start, a hilarious run throughout the movie and a satisfying ending... would recommend you to watch this movie with a gang of your friends, definitely... but since when was watching alone ever fun anyway!!

After that movie, they planned to join Gretchel & two others (whom I still don't know the names of) to watch The Grudge that was at 11pm....
I had a slight dilemma at that time... but thank my goodness my mother agreed to let me join them to watch...
At near the last moment before we were about to go into the cinema theatre, Gretchel, her friends and Izzah finally arrived!
Was surprised to find the theatre nearly empty, except for another group of people...
thus, I suppose it came naturally that Abel & the others would take over the cinema throughout the movie...
throughout the whole movie, during most of the scary scenes, I and, I know, Abel were laughing instead! Why? Because of some of the girls' screaming... especially Seryna's! She screamed the most and the loudest that whole time!
Besides that, I can still recall Gretchel hiding under her pink jacket when after the beginning of the movie... when the scene just seemed to be getting scary...

anyway.. the movie.... The Grudge.... the American version of Ju-On: Grudge....
Did you know that Ju-On actually has a series? That would explain why the original Ju-On movie was so... incomplete and hard to understand...
well... this American version brought forward a more complete story.... which wasn't too difficult to follow... if you're familiar with going to the past of the movie, then back to the present.. then back to the past.. then to the present again... and repeat and so on....
I definitely have to admit.. The Grudge is definitely a scary movie....
After Bella helped drop me back home, I was kind of afraid of being alone in the house...
Thank my goodness that my mother was still watching downstairs... that lessened that fear of mine to a somewhat more comfortable level...
Taking a quick shower, I constantly had to remind myself that I wasn't going to open my eyes and suddenly see Ju-On in front of me....
The eyes.... I just hate the eyes in the movie... THE HORROR!!!!!

hehehe! It's been a great day... with much of goodness for me to be happy of.....
Today, going to campus to do some study a little with some friends....
I'll see if I want to add today into my blog....

All for one day and one day for all!!

Don't understand what the title mean?
Well... the meaning behind the title is... within this one day (Saturday, November 20th, 2004) I was able to spend quite some time with nearly all of my close friends....
Here's the story....

Morning,
Woke up with an aching body from wushu just the other night... hahaha!
Nothing much happened in the morning... just did some planning of the movie outing that me, Roger, Lish, Adrian Foo & some others were having that afternoon...
Had a bit of problem with transport... as Adrian couldn't drive for that day... and he was to pick me to Parkson...
in the end.. the problem was solved.. and we all met up at Parkson....
Bringing the photos of the Curtin Grand Ball, I had them have a look at most of the people that I was hanging out with at Curtin....
For your knowledge.. Roger, Lish, Adrian and the others that came that afternoon were from Prime College....
However.. a few of them MIGHT be coming to join me at Curtin next year... like Adrian....

Anyway.... Afternoon,
we had our lunch together while waiting for the time of the movie... 1pm... The Incredibles...
An d let me tell you.... The Incredibles, by PIXAR, is an EXCELLENT movie to watch... especially with friends....
the comedy and humor is great... I'll be honest... I don't often laugh at the jokes or humor in movies as of nowadays..... with me getting to know of a lot of different jokes and humors as time advances... but this movie was really funny... believe me! With some of the characters' actions or personality and others!
The action in the movie was good and also had a blend of comedy.. which was all right.
The graphic was... INCREDIBLE! I absolutely LOVE the water graphic.. the water looked really good, like the real thing... Same goes for the hair graphic on the women... Really nice! There was a scene where this two different graphics had to be combined.... (Characters in water) ... where the wet hair were just excellent!
The creativity of the movie I really admire... Like the beginning of the storyline... I really never would've expected such a story to exist! Well.. that could just be only me... You watch the movie and then tell me!
However, there are some parts of the story that had seemed pretty obvious and predictable to me... like how the main villain had turned out to be that way.... and even what caused his ultimate defeat.... heheeh! You'd notice all of this too if you are as observant as I was...
Anyway.... I truly recommend you to watch this movie with your close friends... trust me.. it feels INCREDIBLE to enjoy this movie with them....

After the movie... spent some time loitering around Parkson.... then Roger helped to send me back...
Back home, I got myself ready for the dinner tonight... the CV! Appreciation Dinner at Grand Palace Hotel....
Wore the same formal attire I wore that night for the Curtin Grand Ball... minus the blazer...
Iqbal finally came to my house at about 7pm or so....
Secretly brought in Abel's birthday cake and then I joined everyone else..... surprising some people with my sudden appearance...

OK... those that came to the dinner, I can remember, were... Abel, Iqbal, VJ, KC, Cucu, Jenny, Seryna, Snow Jae, Bay, Darryl, his gf (Sorry, don't know your name), Nadia, Azie, Stanley, Raymond Ting, his friend Ryan, Nichalos, Krishna, Edmund, Joana, Bella, Gretchel, Ron, Sara, Navodi, Fiona, Izzah, Zhung Yi... that's all...
It had a lot of fun... especially with VJ... hahaha! The night was definitely fun cause of you, my MC friend!
Time for a toast!
A Toast to CV! Cheers!
(Inside joke) ABEL: The cake's so hard!
REPLY: That's because it's ice-cream cake.
IQBAL: It's not milkshake, but it's good enough.
Abel & Azie singing as beautifully as always.

Dinner... one cake... some games..... a few karaoke... and lots more later.... and it was already near the end...
We had a round of appreciations... starting with Abel... He spoke out his appreciations to everyone that was still there....
After I don know how long later... KC & VJ gave their speech of appreciation to CV! and all of us.... after them were... (Not in order) Ron, Bella, me, Iqbal, Sara, Jenny & Joana...
It was kind of a sentimental moment for some of us... but it was great...
After that round of appreciations, we had to leave...
Most of us planned to continue the night.. with clubbin' at Cheeries Berries.... but some of us went home...
Iqbal helped to send me back.... hahaha, though some of them, like Abel & even, Bella asked me to join them... hahhaa! Thanks guy, but couldn't...

Just to add a few information of what had happened that night....
Krishna was wet...... after he got to dive into the pool.. along with his not formal attire....

That's what you get for coming CASUAL to a FORMAL dinner at the POOLside.
VJ became really drunk at the end of the night.... (became apparent during the round of appreciation time)
VJ: I'm not drunk! Stop treating me like a drunk man! SHUT UP!

Actually.... after the round of appreciation.... it got me to think.... like in the picture above...
Some of us were going to be gone by next year.... like Iqbal, VJ, KC, Jenny.. even Abel himself might be gone some time next year...
sigh... I truly wonder how things will be like without these guys...
It's been so fun.... I just truly wish that it could continue like this for a much longer time... like as long as my time in Curtin!!
sigh.. but that's too much to wish for, I suppose...
Well.... Life goes on always.... You just gotta be able to adapt to the changes...

Anyway.. since last night I wasn't able to give a really good appreciation speech... I plan to write a proper one soon....
Wait for it til then... all right?

Good ol' friends....

It's been a few days and I need to update on two whole days of activities... sigh.... Here goes...
Last Friday (November 19th, 2004) was great....

Morning,
Woke up at first to a sort of boring start....
it was until near noon that things started being livelier....
SMS my close best friend, Roger, that I was free that afternoon... cause just the night before, another close friend of mine, Adrian Foo, had told me about their plan to go play badminton that afternoon....
And as I had predicted, Roger invited me to join him and some others to lunch at Yakin Food Centre...

Afternoon,
Walked through the rain to the coffee shop with an umbrella....
While waiting for Roger and the others to join me, I had my order first.... Why?
Cause I'll become a slow eater if I eat with Roger and the others...
Some time after I was done with my food, then they arrive.... (after over half an hour of the online game, Gunbound)
They ate their food while I just enjoyed their company... along with talking with each otehr and some good laughs...
After lunch... went to one of Roger's friends' house to play Gunbound... Roger and his friends that is.... (I don't play Gunbound)

After an hour or so of Gunbound, we, Roger, Lish & me, then went to our usual badminton place...
There, we met up with some more friends... there were three of them that I don't know very well... but another two there that I knew (for sure) were Adrian Teo & Adrian Foo...
I was surprised to see Adrian Teo.. it's been a while and I never expected to meet him here that day...
To be expected, we played several rounds of badminton... except for Lish, who just watched us, while cheering(?) & supporting(?) Roger! Hehe! ^_^

at 5pm, then Roger had to go... because he had to pick his mother from work...
Me and Lish had to follow his car and we did... first he sent Lish back home, then me...
Hahaha, I can still remember what happened before Lish reached home.. hahaha!
She laughed til her stomach hurt so badly that she couldn't stand it... Why laughing so hard?
Well.. let's just say that Roger and I know how to make her laugh a lot....

Night,
Routine wushu practise.... Adrian Foo came to pick me up... and we went to the Indoor Stadium...
We did the usual routine practise.... Adrian, who just joined this group not so long ago, was slowly beginning to learn the harder moves now.... still the long way to go, m'friend...
Sigh... when it was time to go home, it rained.... sigh.... hate to be wet and sit in a car.... worse if it is someone else's.....

It was a great day nonetheless... It's been SUCH a long time since I got to hang out with these guys...
And yet, that day was the last day of exam for Roger, Lish and their other friends....
sigh.. I'm so jealous..... my exams' are coming after one week... sigh....
what to do... STUDY LO!!! X_x

The Day After the Third Day

Don't understand the title of this post?
It means the day after the third day of HARI RAYA!!

Morning,
Came to campus for a special extra Physics session... purposely to 'remind' us of the tips for the final exam...
Anyway.. after the session... 10am.... came down to the cafeteria and found Nadia and Liz buying somethings to eat and drink...
Was later joined by Jack... When he bought a plate of roti canai, I followed suit.. good thing he reminded me of that...
Then Abel came to join us.
We got to enjoy some good conversations... some good laughs... and of course the company of each other...
Amos and Andre eventually joined us as we spent our time there...
That morning, me & Amos decided to join the Student Ambassadors for Orientation Week 2005... what's that?
Student Ambassadors would equal the committee members taking care of the Orientation of a school....

After registering ourselves at the Student Services, went back to the cafeteria....
Amos went off to the ME computer lab while I went to accompany Liz & Nadia... why? just didn't feel like going in front of the computer at the time....
We spent some more time together til afternoon... when KC, Gretchel, Iqbal, Navodi, Nadia's brother & his friends, Krishna, Hari, Ehon & Amos got to join us... not all at once that is....
we all had lunch... after a while, when there was only me, Amos, Ehon, Liz & Nadia... We got to look at some.. no, wait.... A LOT of photos in Ehon's laptop...
Ahh.... sweet memories.... all within the time of this Semester...
Nadia just couldn't help but express her astonishment for the time flying by so fast in a way....
sigh.... this three months had seemed so short... yet so many had happened....

anyway... later that afternoon, Abel came again... got to join him along with Navodi, Iqbal, Liz, Nadia, KC, Edmund & Jenny...
talk some more again.. hehehe... for quite some time....
We finally went our separate ways at about 3pm later....
I and Edmund went to look for Amos, who had planned to go to Azie's house for Hari Raya.. along with Ehon and some others...
We had some trouble searching for Amos and only when Edmund called him on his HP, did we know that he and the others had gone to town... sheesh.... without telling us about it when I had told him earlier I was joining him to go to Azie's place....
anyway.... we had less than one hour before we would all leave for Azie's place... so, went to one of G3 computer lab to waste time online...
soon enough, Amos and others contacted us that they're coming to the student drop-off area....
Edmund and I 'rushed' all the way to there and waited for them.... [Whatever happened here would just be between me and Edmund, huh? lazy to go into details...]

We, Amos, Ehon, Krishna, Hari, Edmund & I, finally arrived at Azie's house.. after a while of turning here and there.....
We were greeted by her father and then Azie into the house...
settling ourselves in... a few of us got to play a few rounds of English chess....
then most of us got attracted to join the kids at the room with the playstations....
I got to play a bit on the Playstation 2... Crash Nitro Kart... against Azie's brother... and then got to play against Azie herself... hehehe!
It was fun... even though it was only a few rounds....
By 5.30pm.. we had to go..... bidding our goodbyes... we went off...
Amos had to ask about Abel's plans to go to Desserts that night.. but after talking to Abel on the HP, found out that the plan had been canceled..

I had asked Amos to drop me off at Boulevard... so I could buy myself a reload card for my HP....
Reloaded RM50 for my HP... then after checking my balance.... it showed RM49.77.... Did I overuse my credit before????

anyway... walked home on my own.... ate dinner.. had my shower... then came online to do all of this blogging...
hehehe.... kind of bored at home... hoping that I meet some people to chat with online....
but no one to... sigh.....
It's been a fine day anyway.... Next big event.... the CV! Appreciation Dinner this Saturday....
Will keep you updated on that, DEFINITELY!!

Third day of HARI RAYA

Told you about this day.. and here I am to get you in on what had happened on this day... yesterday...
but honestly... nothing much happened...

Morning,
woke up at 10 or so.... still had no idea what time Iqbal was going to pick me up...
then 11.30am or around that time, he SMSed me to tell me that his car can't start and now he's looking for a ride himself....
I thought he might've been able to find someone to help him... but apparently it didn't turn out as I thought...
which meant I'll be the one doing the car pool this time....

and to think he had an exam from 12pm til 2pm if I am not mistaken...
the same time as my brother's who had already drove off....
so had to wait until after 2.30pm which was the time my bro arrived home with the car...
then went to Iqbal's house... thought he'd be there by the time I arrive at about 3pm.. but he only came back minutes later....
my mother actually packed about six homemade chicken sandwiches for Iqbal and others.... and I've put it in his fridge... (Make sure to share it with the others, Iqqy!)

At Iqbal's house, while he was changing his clothes, I tried to contact Abel... but no response except from his voice message.....
then contacted Seryna telling her that we'll be picking her up to go to Nadia's later...

Did that.... then headed to Abel's house.... as we were about to arrive, only then did he response to us... with a sms... 'What?'
Hahaha... anyway... with that, we headed for Nadia's house... Abel driving his own car, accompanied by Iqbal while Seryna accompanied me in my car.
Jalan sesat bah! While Abel went to fill up his car's petrol, I drove off to her place first....
As we tried to locate Nadia's house, we constantly went to the wrong places....
not very good road directions.... grrrrr...........

anyway.. FINALLY got to the house, minutes after Abel and Iqbal...
Entering her house, I saw Ehon, Jenny, Nicholas, Krishna, Liz, Hari and Edmund....
apparently, they had been there for quite a while and there had been other company as well... such as Azie's large family...
This is the sitting room as you can see at the background.
What are they looking at? I don know.. but I've the feeling it's the ceiling.....

anyway.. had something to eat.... sat around and talk... a lot.....
I don't know how long later, everyone just planned to go to the back and sit to talk somemore... cause of the extra guests coming in....
it was quite comfortable... the environment... the wind... the mosquito.... nevermind...
Just one of the photos taken when we were at the backyard.

anyway... then Abel, Seryna and Iqbal planned to go to campus to do some... online work.... or whatever else they want to do.... so they went off first...
After spending some more time there, everyone planned to leave... or more that Nadia 'halau' us....
We all went off then, except Liz....
I, at first, thought to go back home.... bu then... on second thought, thought to join Abel and others back on campus....

By the time I reached campus, it was 6pm.... the door of the admin building was not operating/switched off... and I didn't know how to get in....
and with my phone dead of credit (DiGi burned my 22 cents!! T_T ), I couldn't contact Iqbal or anyone I knew who was there....
After going to the other computer labs at the general purpose buildings, I found Edmund, Wong and the Monsterz Group (Jeremy, Lu/Ong, Aldrich, including Ling Khing) in the lab at G3...
I borrowed Edmund's mobile phone to contact Iqbal [Thank you, Edmund!]... and it so happens they were planning to go down stairs...
Then went back to the admin building.... this time, when I got to the door, I tried sliding it open.... it worked!!
slipped in and waited for them.... minutes later, Sara came!
He was looking for Abel and the others... without hesitation, he went up the lift, followed by me... to find them...
He asked me if we had gone to Nadia's place... my answer was (obviously) 'Yes'....
He then told me that he had actually wanted to go but no one contacted him...

Going to Abel's workplace where we met Seryna, Iqbal and Jenny... he asked Iqbal why he didn't contact him about going to Nadia's place...
Iqbal explained that he couldn't get through to Sara's phone when we were going...
Hahaha, too bad for Sara.
anyway, Abel, Iqbal, Jenny and Seryna were planning togo to one of Azie's aunt's house, which was somewhere in Senadin area....
I felt happy for my decision to come to campus instead... hehe!
Sara couldn't join for this visit... but he wanted to send his regards to Azie.

Once we left in our cars for Azie's aunt's house... me following behind Abel.... boy... did we often get to the wrong places...
sigh.. a day of wrong turns for me I suppose.... sigh...
about ten minutes or more of driving, Abel then phoned Azie to ask for directions....
immediately we got to the right house.... and the house was B-E-A-U-T-ful!
One part of the sitting room... The house is really beautiful.
Abel played a little the piano that was in the sitting room.

Seems to be a pattern here...
First, Azie's house that was so comfortable that we were having a hard time to leave...
Second, her cousin, Dian's house that was very nice as well....
Then this house... WOW, this family!

Anyway... we got to listen to good music, then we were introduced to the living room where there was a large screen TV... besides that, there was also this big shelf that held A LOT of dolls from different places/countries.
Azie explained that her aunt enjoyed traveling... that would explain the dolls from different countries...
We also got to hang for a while at the patio that was just beside the living room...
I so envy them... Their house is so nicely decorated and so comfortable... sigh....
Some time later, we also got to watch and listen to Azie play some music on a keyboard that was in the living room as well..
I watched on as Azie and Abel did a few duets.

It was such a great night.... at about... 9pm or so... We then left.....
but before we actually left, we got to take a short look at the garden at the front of the house...
another one of the beautiful parts of the house.... sigh....
anyway, we left and headed to Boulevard... KFC!! Why? To eat! What? We weren't hungry when we were at Azie's aunt's house... and when we left.... we started to feel the hunger... well... me anyway... xp
anyway... ate some chicken... I then went back home on my own at about around 10.15pm....

It's been a good day... sigh.. I am so grateful for this good life of mine... =)

A not-so-good Poem...

Had wrote another poem some time ago....
not a very special one.... but it's quite all right, I believe...

Five stanzas...
Eight syllabuses in each line....
A rhyming scheme of a-a-a-a-a, b-b-b-b-b, c-c-c-c-c, and so on....

in short... an iambic pentameter as someone told me this kind of poem is called...
anyway.. do give your comment on how it is to you...

JEALOUSY OR ENVY

Couples after pairs, often there,
See them here and there, anywhere.
One may wonder why I would care.
Both thought, feeling I have to bear;
Try to see in my view I dare.

Notice I have, something hidden,
Hidden to all, themselves even.
For granted, think I see, taken,
For the one to them He’d given,
Either the men or the women.

It’s probably just me maybe,
Thinking why no one is with me,
In a way like these couples be;
Romance, care or just be happy.
Is this jealousy or envy?

Why do I make myself bother?
As if I’ ve to find that other,
So early now and not later.
Friends, close and most, so much wonder,
Who I’ll end up with together.

I myself think and try to tell,
The future that I have and will.
Will it be like a fairy-tale?
To be with me for all, she shall,
My heart, who will come to prevail?

First day of HARI RAYA

What a long.. but VERY enjoyable day it was yesterday...

Morning,
Woke up early... cause have Wushu practise...
drove to my coach's house where they were having the practise... instead of the routine practise at the Indoor Stadium.. probably because it's Hari Raya and the stadium is closed for the public holiday...
First time ever I was so out of breath while practising!! I was completely fatigued.. and it was only a few rounds of it....

anyway... I only did the practise for one hour, then had to go home.. to prepare myself to go visiting...
Reached home at 11.30am.. and had a shower....
while waiting for Iqbal to pick me... had a light meal.... fast noodles.. hehehe!

Anyway.. afternoon... we, Iqbal, Abel, Sara, Jenny & Seryna, first went to Azie's house...
Her house is so beautiful and so comfortable... It really is!

Here's the front of Azie's house (Jenny in pic). Nice, isn't it?

While there, Abel just had he idea to borrow someone's Malay shirt to have the Hari Raya feeling...
He got to borrow one from Azie's father.... then Sara thought to follow Abel's example and borrowed one too... and then with the suggestion from the others, I joined to borrow one as well!

This is how we looked like with the Malay shirts. The man in the middle is Azie's father.

We had our lunch here as well.. the food was nice!

after that we went to the back of the house... wow.. the back was really nice too!

The sitting area at the back of Azie's house.

After some while of just talking and getting to know a lot Azie's father (very nice guy), we 'reluctantly' (Azie's house was just that comfortable) went to Azie's cousin's house which was just opposite her place... Dian was her name if I am not mistaken...
my apologies if I spelt her name wrongly... or even mistakening the person herself! XP
Unfortunately, Dian was not there anymore.. but her father still welcomed us in.

The place was really nice and comfortable too!

Not only that, he also got to entertain us with his electric guitar.. Boy.. he was really good... Enjoyed listening to him.

After about another hour, we then moved on to the next house.. which was Fera's house...
It was about 6pm if I am not mistaken when we arrived to her house...

There were quite some number of people that came after us as well!

We got to meet with Fera's family..... While most of us were having dinner and after his, Abel got to talk with Fera's parents...
I was already feeling my eyes burning... lack of sleep I suppose... but I forced myself not to dose off there...
eventually... we moved on to the next house... the fourth... Aishah's house.

Wow... her house was REALLY nice.. I liked the place a lot... sigh.. how I envy them all to have such nice houses....
Anyway, we spend quite a while here. Later, Azie and her family came as well, somewhere between 8-8.30pm if I am not mistaken....
We spend some more time together... then shortly after Azie & her fmily went off, we left as well.

Sara playing with the antique pistol with Jenny.

Final house we went for the day... Abel's house... He wasn't celebrating Hari Raya... but we went there to have some of my mother's homemade pizzas...

We also had another dinner here...

At the sitting room, Abel brought out a bottle of tuak (rice wine).. but this tuak wasn't like the one we had before...
this particular bottle had been kept since 1996! It's almost a decade old!
All of us, except Seryna, had a drink of it. But most of us had very little to drink because... Iqbal had exams the next day... and Jenny & I didn't want too much to drink....
Sara and Abel only had one glass of that old tuak... I think.. I'm not too sure...

Cheers!

At 11pm or so.. we made a move back...
It had been a great and fun day... some more Hari Raya fun on Tuesday when we will be going to Nadia's house.... Will keep you updated on that!

Thank you...

Today had been quite an all right day...

Morning,
the usual class schedule... tips for final exam for Physics... a little of Critical Thinking too...
then while in the computer lab being bored... suddenly Abel messaged me to have lunch with him....
so immediately went to the cafeteria to wait for him... was joined by Jack and then Hazel, his gf and her friend (sorry, but don't know her name)...
then Abel came... got to talk some... before we were joined by Jenny, KC, Amos, Bay & Nadia too....
we talked... quite a lot about the photos I had from the Curtin Grand Ball.. great pics... love them!

Then came afternoon... and I had a couple of IT projects to take care of.... the Viva Interview with Mr. Foad...
quickly went to meet with my group in the computer lab to discuss about it...
It wasn't much... had to explain to Farshid about the programs of the IT projects... which was quite difficult since he often didn't attend the lectures... sigh....
Then came the Viva Interview... got through with it with Mr. Foad... thankfully... hopefully I'll do better this time...
After that.. was bored again..... thank goodness I got to meet with good ol' Edmund... I'm really starting to like this guy.. He's such a fun fellow. I wonder how I would be if I haven't Edmund as my close friend... probably bored to death.... literally....
He was with Ehon at the cafeteria... we got to talk and laugh... then went to the computer lab again.. and played Quadra... a tetris game.....
then, between 4-5pm, got a message from Abel asking me to join him for dinner with the gang... Iqbal, Jenny, Serena, KC, VJ, Gretchel, Ron, & Sara some time after 6...

I thought to join my Wushu practise for tonight.... so I thought to just join them for dinner and then go back to go for the practise... but I soon find out that that plan will have to change...
I suspected that when we all left to eat at 6pm and arrived at Sultana at 6.30pm.... NO WAY will I be done within one hour time.... so maybe I'll join it somewhat later.... perhaps....
We talked, laughed, teased, etc... especially about a particular photo which involves VJ & Bella... HAHAHAH! That should be enough for some people to understand!
We had a lot of fun tonight.... A lot of good, loud, hardy laughs, especially cause of Gretchel!
too bad Bella couldn't join us... would've been so much fun with her too...

But one point during the night that really surprised me...

Gretchel asked me regarding 'Senior' that had been here, in this blogspot some time ago...
She asked if I have already gotten to know who this 'Senior' was... whom I STILL don't know of... since he/she never replied since my last argument against him/her here....
Then when Abel asked about this 'Senior' fellow, Iqbal went to explain somewhat of what had happened.... which surprised me too...
He praised how I had put forward a good argument, which I felt somewhat proud of now.. hehe...
Gretchel even knew of that someone who had IMPERSONATED me and spoke out-of-character on MY behalf... (D@** whoever that fellow was...)

Why all this surprised me?
Well... it is because no one had EVER mentioned about it before... except for Liz, who, if I am not mistaken, had encouraged me not to give up, some time ago in the post board... I took it as a conjunction to that event... (Thanks, Liz)
So, I was surprised that there WERE others who had taken notice of what had happened here before...
and at least had shown some concern to it...
SO, thank you, Gretchel, Iqbal.... Thank you for showing me how you care for me as my close friends.
Thank you for supporting me. I am so grateful to God or whatever almighty power in life that has led me to have such a good life.

man! My eyes burn!! need to sleep a lot.... sigh... don't even bother commenting on that, Abel, Serena, or whoever else that has something to say about that!

CV! Appreciation Nite

There have been a few thank you notes written lately, and published to all to see. So I thought I do the same, but publishing all of them (including the latest one by Ehon)...

Special Note of Thanks to Curtin Volunteers! (CV!)
By Mr. Abel Nelson Nang

To all my "babies" of CV!,

Curtin Volunteers! At time of trying to put all these into words, I have a mix feelings about everything - it won't fit if I were to list them down in here. But I am sure of one, and that I am so proud of all of you for all the untiring support and effort you have put into making the John Curtin Charity Month 2004 a great success, despite of all the challenges coming our way. Zillion of thanks to all those wonderful people who were involved, for without their sacrifices, commitement and team spirit, JCCM04 could not have happened.

A saying goes "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give". Sowing seeds that benefit others probably won't mean traveling to another country to serve the poor or anything like that, but to help others in your own small ways like what you have done, whether it's sacrificing your Saturdays & Sundays to reach out the community in need, or putting your desires on hold for the sake of your team's success. Success in life has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It's what you do for others. The success journey will not look the same for everyone because the picture of success is different for every person. But the principles used to take the journey don't change.

My very special thanks to Serena and Jae - the two iron ladies who stand still with all the ups and downs ever since the initiation of CV! in 2002. You both have brought CV! to greater heights and remember, NEVER QUIT!

Gretchel - I could not have made Dance for Humanity a reality without you sacrificing your Hong Kong trip. Of course the rest of the CV! dancers - Tiang, Ehon, Lis, Navodi, Iqbal, Jack, Kian, Barke, Fiona, Jae, Sara, VJ, KC, Azie, Bella, Joanna and the great Eng Kiat. We all were awesome!

Ehon - thank you for coordinating the Kidney Dialysis visit and the Love Box Campaign. Your spirit and enthusiasm are your strengths to share with others.

Iqbal - I have so much of things to say about you but first, let me thank you for coordinating the Blood Donation. I am always amazed by your friendliness. Your kindness and easy-going attitude have touched many people around you, and yes that is including me. I have no regrets that you are Mr. O-Week Feb 2004.

Tiang - with all the preparation you have done and your "never give up" spirit in coordinating the Sunflower visit, you have earned trust from others. From the moment of awarding the Mr. O-Week July 2004 title to you, I have seen big potential in you. Learn to grow and share with others.

Daryll - with a question "How can I help?", you became the head for the Maths Workshop facilitators. Thank you for a job well-done. The modules prepared are fun, inspiring and informative. Many thanks to the other facilitators - VJ, Iqbal, Serena, Jae, Jessie, Nadia, Lis, Amos, Edmund, Navodi, Bay, Jenny, Tiang, Ehon & Joanna. Great team!

VJ, Jenny & Navodi - Excellent Happy Hour for charity. My deepest appreciation for your hard work and preparation for a lovely night. My special thanks to Azie for without your live band perfomance, the night would be dull and empty. It is hard to imagine what some people had missed for not being there.

Bay - Your Charity Singing contest was a great success. I can still remember how nervous you were in the beginning, but hey, it turned out so well. To all my babies, the dancers - Gretchel, Giegel, Joanna, Lis, Bella & Icha: You guys were AWESOME!

Amos - i know you had lots of stress coping up with your studies and at the same time coordinating the Longhouse visit but it was fantastic. I must say, it's the best! For the rest who came, i can't thank you enough for your active participations.

Mother Teresa once said, "We can cure physical disease with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair & hopelessness is love".
You guys have brought that love to others and certainly to ME, and I thank you all, deep from the bottom of my heart.

Love - abel

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is from SERENA, as the VICE PRESIDENT of CV!, on behalf of CV! (She guess)
To Abel, thanx so, so, so much for everything, most of all you support for CV! all this while. If Jae and I (and once Deb) are the pillars, you ARE the FIRM foundation that keep us all standing. Since 2002, when you first came to Curtin, you have always been there for us. I don't know HOW you can stand all the criticism for people but the way you handle them, it always gives us THE MOTIVATION to GO ON (esp our 'best friends'). I know there are times we don't do our work as well as you expected but we learn through time and I know, in time we'll improve. Look how CV! have grown (member wise and reputation wise). It's all through all OUR (you, then Deb, Jae, Me and of course, the members) hard work TOGETHER. I really appreciate your help, guidance and motivation. Thanx so much & I know, there's not enough 'THANK YOU's that I can say. Basically, there's no words to say how much your support means to US. Thanx once again for working together WITH US.
Jae... 3 yrs... It's a long time. Now it's up to us to keep the flame alive, to keep CV! alive. We've been through high and lows together and yes, some days of PMS, depressions and I guess, there were one or two misunderstandings. Then again... I hope we can remain as we are work well together for CV! The PMS is normal for us right? Let no guy problems (esp. mine) keep us from doing our work together.
Hmm... everyone else... too many to mention.
EHON: thanx for organising the Love Box & Kidney dialysis. And of course, writing the minutes. Thanx so much for running around too... hehehe...
GRETCHEL: thanx so so much too for the dance team & the Cheerleading team. Without your help, support & enthusiasm there would be no dance team and definitely no cheerleading team. Thanx thanx so much for your support and I hope we as CV! can work together for a long long time.
JOANNA: Thanx for your help and support too... both you and Gretchel were the backbones of the cheerleading team. Without both of you and your team... I don't know how the publicity for Curtin Carnival & JCCM would be. Thanx again & let's work together for CV! again next year ya!!
IQQY: Thanx so much for actually being able to understand all my ups and downs! I dunno wat to say... I guess you know wat I haf to say esp thank you so, so much!! Oh! Abel says "My @** is bigger than yours!" hahahaha.... You are a great guy and I really appreciate you handling the donation money (with Nadia) and most of all, the t-shirts. Hey, need my help to sell t-shirts next time?? If I'm free. after all, it's for the CV! we love. Thanx thanx so much.
NADIA: Thanx for helping to keep the donation money and helping to look after the booth. :-) And Yes, you were also a great MC at the Happy Hour!!
LIS: Thanx for your support and participation in the dance & cheerleading teams. also, thanx for looking after the booth. :-)
JENNY: Yo! You put a lot of effort in the promo for Happy Hour & I really thank you for your help & support. Without you, Navodi & Vijay doing the promo & organzing the Happy Hour would have not been a success. Thanx so much.
NAVODI: Sis, I really dun know wat to say. Just a simple thank you isn't enough. I know you sacrificed a lot of your time for CV! (like many others) and your lifely & happy -go-lucky attitude actually motivated (You didn't know, but there were some bad days...)Thanx so much for working together once again. CV! would not be a lifely without you and these past 2 years since you were in CV! we've worked together... I dunno wat else to say... Love ya, sis!
VIJAY: Yes, the man. You were the core of all the promos man (of course, the Cheerleader, Jenny & Navodi too! ) But the way you handle the mic & catch ppl's attention in d canteen... I salute you. Charity Happy Hour... You & Nadia were great!!! Be our MC next year again can? ;-)
AZIE: You have a great voice girl!! Thanx so, so much for singing at Charity Happy Hour. Please thank your relatives too for their support! Oh yeah, you can dance too!
TIANG: Mr Pole dance... hehehehe... I'm so, so sorry I didn't attend the Sunflower visit & I'm really disappointed I didn't go. I heard it was great fun! Thanx so much for organizing it... You were also a great sandwichman!! I haf a cute pic of you... hehehe... Keep up the good work and hope that we can work together agian next year.
DARYLL: Mr Maths himself. I really salute you man, esp the way you did the maths thingy. So far, I know how to do question one already! hehehehe...
AMOS: Hey, u seemed so quiet all trip... I know you were worried about the Long House Trip but Hey! It was a success. I hope we can haf more of such activities. It's an eye opener for many especially the international and non sarawakian student. Thanx so much 4 ur hard work... next year ya!
To everyone else Thanx so much. There's so many of you that I wanna say THANK YOU to... Words can't describe the gratitude to all... Keep on working together for CV! and the community. Keep the CV! Flame burning and may we achive better things in the future. I'm so, so sorry IF I DID HURT ANYONE'S FEELINGS ALL THIS WHILE. SOMETIMES, AS WE ALL KNOW, WHEN WE ARE ALL BUSY, EMOTIONS TEND TO FLARE... So, so, so sorry... I dunno what else to say... Thanx so much!! :-)
CV! Longhouse Visit
WOooHOoo!! The visit to Abel's longhouse at Sungai Entulang was GREAT!!
Morning, before 7.30, everyone coming gathered at the student drop-off area, where the bus was already waiting. Most of us were so busy taking the things that we needed onto the bus, like CV! T-shirts, our belongings, etc.
CV! members that were involved in this visit included Abel, Iqbal, VJ, KC, Joana, Serena, Yani, Chelsia, Poey, Zahoor, Jenny, Jessie, Sam, Jack, Giegel (Ms. Curtin!), (even) her family (YAY!!), Ehon, Amos (Project leader), Sara, and many others.
A few that couldn't make it were Nadia, Liz, Snow Jae... Well these are the only ones that I know that really wanted to go....
We finally move from Curtin to the longhouse at 8am. Took us about an hour to reach there.
In the bus, I got to sit next to Ms Curtin! Yay for me!! ;P
Some of us just slept along the ride, cause most of us were so tired and still woke up pretty early that morning...
When we finally got there, most of us were amazed by how LONG the longhouse was!
it's not just long... it's LONG!!
anyway... our visit here was not for the longhouse... We're actually there to do 'gotong-royong' at the school there.
'gotong-royong' meaning something like community work.
When we got off at the gate entrance to the school area, we were greeted by Abel's father....
then we were led to the main hall, where Abel's father, who was the principal of the school, officially welcomed us, etc...and got to give a souvenir to Amos, our project leader.
Iqbal and Jenny (Jessie just behind them)
Serena with the red cap in the background with Amos (blue cap) & Ehon next to her
with that over with, we were then separated to do separate works.
Works included preparing lunch for everyone, painting the mural in the main hall, painting the fences, carrying wood from the forest and planting some trees.
Some of the 'big boys' went to do the forest work,
some of the ladies went to help with the cooking, (picture not available)
some others just went to paint the fence (including me)
and MOST of us were at the main hall painting the mural.
I'm not too sure who went to help with the tree-planting bid.... or even IF the work was done that day... (shrugs)
About one hour or so of work, it was time for break. Got back ot the main hall to have some sandwiches and cookies and small milk packets.
It was satisfying. And also got to see the murals... nice...
Those longhouse people are really good at drawing the patterns. CV! members just painted with them.
After break, got back to work... another hour or so later (1.30pm), it was lunchtime!
Most of us sat together and ate. Fun experience!
When we were done with lunch, some of us entertained everyone else by dancing a couple of songs... 'Just A Little While' by Janet Jackson & 'Hey Mama' by Black Eyed Peas...
after that, we went to visit the longhouse... There are 99 families here and there are three blocks that made up the longhouse.
Reason why there are three separate longhouse is cause to prevent fire from destroying all their homes like once before.
WHAT A LONG WALK!!! One block of the longhouse was long enough but THREE!!!
As I said, each block of the longhouse was REALLY LONG! but it was still a fun experience.
At the third block (Block C), we stopped in the middle to have a drink... the local drink, tuak... or in English, rice wine...
EVERYONE got at least a sip of drink...
Ehon drinking tuak, beside Amos.
I got to drink more than one glass (western tea-cup size)...
NO more details than that.... >P
After spending quite a while at that block, it was time to play some sport!
I actually didn't want to join to play.. and just planned to watch them play volleyball... but then, they were low of one player, so I joined!
It was fun! Near evening, we had a friendly competition between a team of six from Sg. Entulang and a team of six from Curtin!
We lost... sigh... Home court advantage... Hahaha! But we still have fun!
Before we go, we did something else other than the mural at the main hall... We leave our signature on one of the walls there as well!!
Try to find mine. I doubt you could, cause it's too small and barely visible in this pic.
6.30pm
, we got back on the bus and left. It was SUCH a great time.
Most of us slept on the bus ride back to campus. We were SOO tired....
but, as I said before, it was GRREAT! Definitely plan to go visit there again in the next one... of course, with the condition that Abel is the project advisor.
DISCLAIMER:
All the photos in this post are NOT mine. They were taken from two of my friends' Multiply sites (Jenny & Ehon's).
