The Good, The Bad & The Balancing
Sigh... today wasn't exactly a good day... yet.. not exactly a bad day either...
Morning.. I drove to Curtin... to take care of the 'Summer Course' thing...
My mother wanted to know if the fees for the summer course is paid separate from the tuition fee (which has been paid in full, along with the scholarship)...
If it needs to be paid, then I can forget about joining this course...
Unfortunately, the summer course fees ARE paid separate from the tuition fee...
Luckily, I was able to discuss with the Student Service so that the tuition fee could be transfered to pay for the course... and I'll still have the goodness of having only FOUR subjects for my next semester... YES!!
Let me explain somewhat of what happened... I don't know exactly how important this is for my foundation-mates who are planning to join the summer course...
First of all, as I said before... the summer course needs to be paid separate from the tuition fee...
Since I have enrolled the courses, Malaysian and Moral Studies for the next semester.... I had to first withdrew the two from my next semester... and then take them during the summer course....
Which meant I needed to fill up TWO different forms... one to withdrew.. and one to register for the summer course....
I had the Foundation Course Coordinator, Mr. Kantha signed for the two forms and returned to the Student Services...
Now.. only thing left was to transfer the tuition fee to pay for the Summer Course...
Once they were done with that, I just needed to clear things up with the cashier about the transfer...
Since it seemed that the two course subjects in the Summer Course was less expensive than in the Semester... I'll be getting back a refund... in two weeks' time...
Another thing about this Summer Course thing... for the two LAN Units, Malaysian and Moral Studies... We'll need a minimum of 15 people joining it, according to the form I filled up...
Hopefully we'll have that many people of the Foundation joining.. at least....
I don't know if the Degree students joining this will be counted in that 15 people....
Well... with that over with... guess what I discovered as I was about to return home...
I had left my car keys in the car and locked it.... add that with slightly heavy rain and it equals to 'DOGGONE IT!'!!
sigh.. immediately, phoned Roger to help me out... he agreed to help, but he didn't know the road to Curtin...
since he will need to get the extra keys from my brother who's back at home... he asked if my bro could help guide him there...
Phoned home and then asked my bro so... as expected he was somewhat 'unhappy' by the news.... but he agreed anyway...
Waited the next half an hour before they finally arrived... with Lish at the back seat of the car...
My brother drove back home with the car... while I went with Roger & Lish...
The three of us went to Sin Yakin Food Center, which was near where I lived to eat lunch...
After that... went to my place... the 'adorable' (quoted from Azie) couple played a little with my sister's two dogs...
then went to watch some of the Anime series, 'Naruto' on ym brother's computer...
then came 2pm... went for badminton again....
Today... besides the three of us... there was Adrian Foo, Nellie & Kevin...
at the last hour of us spending our time there... two more friends came...
I don't know them, but Nellie does... and if I'm not mistaken.. this two are very experienced in badminton.. maybe are the ones I heard had represented Sarawak before or something like that...
I don't know... but in a doubles match with Roger against them, we lost... with much struggle to keep up with them...
Well... that's all then...
This Wednesday I'll be starting my work at my aunt's place for half of the month....
Tomorrow, Roger had planned for a movie outing to watch 'Ocean Twelve'....
To be honest.. this movie wasn't at all attractive to me... but he convinced me to go cause by Wednesday, Lish will return to Brunei, and who knows when she'll ever come back to Miri...
sad story here.... not to be revealled by me though.....
