Monday.. Packed day..

Boy.. last night's storm was heavy, huh?
meddlesome storm.. forced me from the computer for an hour or so... for fear of a thunder strike and electrocuting the whole house or something... hehe...


Anyway! Monday! Today!
Boy.. today was quite a schedule booked day...

ok... work...
busy... on and off... most of the time on though...
Man... heavy rain somewhere in the middle of the afternoon... being an old building, this place, there was a few leaks in the roofs... sigh.... but taken care of...

Came back... thought I could go on the PS2 for the rest of the evening... but then, my mother reminded me of the wedding dinner that I was supposed to attend with her that night...
seeing the rain outside getting heavier... I felt that I didn't want to go out tonight... my mind reminding me of what happened last night...
but in the end, my mother convinced me to go.... don't bother asking.. I don't exactly know how to explain it anyway...

Went to the wedding dinner at Dynasty Hall within the Dynasty Hotel...
there were a lot of people that attended this...
on the table that I sat were my mother, my mother's mother, two aunts and one uncle, two of my younger female cousins, one of my cousin's boyfriend and his younger brother...
well.. guess what we did there? we just went there to eat.... DUH!
sigh.. I knew it was going to be like that... I don't even know who's the couple getting married!
hahah! I just only know that they're a somewhere within the family tree... including the in-laws' family tree...
though... actually, some of the dishes were nice... especially love the shark fin soup... hate the fact that it is made from a very endangered species of animal.. but love the soup...
besides that.. there was a karaoke for all who wants to sing... all the songs sang were Chinese.. except two songs sang by a little boy that was English.. "My Sunshine" & "A small world after all"... (not too sure if the titles of the songs are correct)
all of them sang by adults... except that little boy.... some of them were good.. some others.. weren't as....

anyway... right after the fruits, immediately it seems everyone planned to leave... including us...
I just couldn't wait to get home... and get on the computer to update my blog... before I get left behind by time...
sigh.. tomorrow must definitely go for the wushu practise... to try and make up for my past misses...
gonna be SO tiring tomorrow.. sigh...

ok.. going off from MY life... I got to realise just now just how serious the tsunami was that occured somewhere...
read in the news about it (though only a small part of it).. but I never realised that there were so many casualties....
too be honest.. I can't say that I truly care about the victims and their families and those who survived and/or suffered the tsunami... cause.. frankly, I just... don't see the point of me caring...
I just can pity and feel sorry for their misfortune... it happened during the time of Christmas after all...
It must be really terrible... losing the ones closest to you during a time when you were supposed to be spending time with them...
