Over a year has gone. HYBRID has recovered from his last fall after FATE’s game and has continued to set forth with his life; FATE still weaving Her obstacles for him and the ‘Demon of the Conscience’, ID still present and battling with him as he progressed.
How will his journey be from here onwards?

HYBRID smiles.

He’s looking forward to what’s ahead.

Hectic-turned-serene end...

The Fearsome Sand Ninjas
Wow.... been such a busy few days... packed with so much things to do as I said before...
Let's start off with where I left off... which was last Thursday..

I recall that day wasn't such a good day for me.. sigh...
first... woke up late and completely missed the first lecture at 10am...
was feeling real 'b*tch7' by that, but that was fueled by other minor annoyance, such as terrible traffic...
however, soon it turned out not so bad... when I was able to redeem my attendance in my earlier lecture later on (cause the lecturer forgot to take attendance that lecture)..
then after the two lectures that afternoon, I got to join Roger, Kim & Eddy to do some preparation for the games planned for the Run For Charity 2 event at Dynasty Hotel on Sunday.
After that just hung and play around at Roger's house and then, dinner, and then went for the meeting at Dynasty Hotel that night...

Next day... quite a lot of bother happened to me... sheesh.. I can still remember how "HECTIC" it was that morning alone....
first, early morning, went to my mother's office to print some of my lecture notes and tutorial sheets...
then Abel called me and asked me to help look for some CV! members to help him out with a campus tour that afternoon... and they need to be able to understand and speak Malay..
So, call after call after call.... and finally got enough people to help...
then I realised that I have less than half an hour more to go before my lecture... so I rushed to campus....
arriving campus and to the tutorial class... wrong class... eh? strange...
search around a little.. then found my lecturer... then I just realised... my class was one hour later... -_-III

anyway... besides that, after that one hour class was done, met up with Abel and the CV! members that I contacted at the cafeteria, where he briefed them on what they need to be doing later...
then at 1pm, just when he was done, I rushed off to meet Ms. Beena regarding the ipac.... but then she told me that the meeting was postponed to Monday for some reason (that I didn't bother to remember)....
I was like.. 'Aww.... no ipac then..?' (of course.. in my head lah!)
I was so hoping to get it that day and study its functions during the weekend... sigh... gonna be so busy next week...
then had a little trouble with Kimberley.... very complicated so I won't bother to explain...
thankfully, in the end things turned out all right... I got to fetch Kim up to campus and I was able to join up with them for the campus tour, when initially I thought I couldn't...
then had an hour or so to rest..... used that time at the Student Council Room..

Happy family of Samurai X
Then came time to meet with the SOAR Advisors of the last Orientation Week... which are Roger, Melanie, GT, Cheryl, Iqbal, Wisdom, Hiew, Kimberley, Augustine, Ky, Aylwin, Ian, Genesis, Pamela... but minus Anthony as he would not be around that week.. too bad...
but then, his absence has been covered by two new additions to the team.. Angeline & Diana...
Anyway... initially, Abel contacted me saying that he'd be slightly late, so to teach the two new girls the dance steps that the other SOAR Advisors were all so familiar with already....
a little while later, he contacted me again and said to carry out some of the discussions as did before, as he was caught up with a sudden last minute meeting...
So I chaired the meeting for a while... discussing some of the initial things that I know should be take care of first.... like Monday, first day of the o-week..
then a third message, Abel said that he predict he won't be able to make it for the meeting at all... and so for us to discuss everything and teach the dance steps to the two girls.. and then call it a night..
so... I chaired a meeting for the first time.... wow.... haha!
anyway.. got to take care of the usual initial stuffs.... and got to teach the two girls the steps of 'Lean On Me', 'The Jungle Song' & a little of 'I Will Survive'...
and then we went off.... some of us however went to eat at Restoran Nurhikmat... before calling it a night...

Next day.. Saturday morning.... 9.30am was another meeting amongst the SOAR Advisors...
Abel once again had to be late for the meeting, so we used the time to recap the dance steps for Angeline.. Diana was having class at the time... but she later joined us during the meeting...
When Abel arrived, we started our meeting...
He did a little of positive motivation for us.. with the goal to remind us to always remain calm and optimistic despite what may happen... and also to improve and strengthen our camaraderie and sense of team spirit!
After that, he also commented on each one of us that were present... our strengths and our shortcomings...

For me.. I can still remember them... and I intend on reminding myself on them...
Abel first mentioned about my public speaking ability...
He advised me to work on my tone and emphasis of words as I speak, so as to somewhat improve my 'monotonous' voice..
He said that I am improving... and was about 70% improvement....
I know that I am improving... but I don't know if I'm even half way there....
Next, he commented on my leadership skills...
He praised that I have good leadership skills and have really changed myself a lot for the better since the first time he got to know me in Summer Camp 2003..
He mentioned that I was reliable as I get my work done... which was why he asked me to conduct the meeting the other night...
And lastly, he gave me one advise... and that is to be more sensitive... sensitive to the needs of others...
one reason why he asked me to be that, was cause for the fact that I am a member of the Student Council, representing the students of the Curtin community..
He suggest for me to first start small.. namely within the team of SOAR Advisors..
I used to be quite sensitive... I believe....
when Curtin Volunteers! Apprentice was first introduced and the group selected... amongst all the EXCO members of CV!, I feel I knew all member of CV!A the most... the happiness they felt, the usual life of theirs... and even the problems they were facing..
But I did realise that I was less sensitive of my other team members nowadays....
possibly cause of my other problems being faced.... guess time for me to improve myself some more...

Anyway... back to the day of activities, after the meeting with Abel, we headed to have lunch at Restoran Nurhikmat again before heading to Dynasty Hotel for the final briefing session of the next day's Run For Charity event...
After that briefing session, we got to go into our rooms upstairs... most of us were staying overnight at Dynasty Hotel.. four rooms were provided to us, for free.. YAY!!
Sigh.. .but that afternoon was so BORED!!!!
I can still remember that practically everyone had gone off somewhere... and when I went up to the room, I only had Augustine to accompany me... haha!
just boredly watched television... thankfully got an interesting movie on at the time...
later on, Ian & Aylwin got to join us.. and then alter, Roger, Kim & her brother, Aaron... so it wasn't too bored after that...

that night, got to eat at McDonald at Bintang Plaza with Iqbal, Roger, Kimberley, Aaron, Ian, Augustine & Melanie...
After that dinner, headed back to the hotel for another briefing session, with Abel....
it was just a quick one to remind us about tomorrow...
After that, just stayed in our rooms.. boredly watching the television again... but at least this time with more company... and thankfully a few nice movies was shown.. haha!
Got to finally sleep around before 2am....

But then woke up at about 4am.... got changed and prep for the day's event...
met up with the rest of the team down at the lobby before heading out to do venue preparations...
And then everyone was sent to their respective posts along the route of the joggerthon...
it wasn't long before the event was already done and we got to go back to Dynasty Hotel...
after all the runners had finished the race, we had a closing ceremony, including speeches, prize-giving to the winners, and cert-giving to the committee members, including the CV! members..
then we proceeded with an early brunch... and then most of us just crashed in our rooms (as we were allowed to check out by 3pm)
most of us just slept starting from 10.30am onwards....
me.. I didn't sleep much... not much of a afternoon napper..
it was so peaceful in the room... with Roger, Kimberley, Aaron & Ian sleeping while I just watched the TV...
I did sleep little by little as time passed... but I enjoyed the serenity of the time...

Sigh... what a calming day.. hehe... a calming end to such a chaotic second week of my semester..
and next week, starting tomorrow, will be the Foundation Orientation Week..
can't wait to see how this one turns out....
Wish I could be more involved.. but I've classes and most likely work to do.. sigh... shrugs... see lah how I handle my time....
