Sonnet III

How long it has been since that very day,
When I had confessed my feelings to you;
Quite some ago, yet fresh like yesterday.
And until now, those feelings still are true.

Since that day, we have gotten to be close,
I dare say, honestly, to my gladness.
Close friends was what you had considered us,
And possibly closer with time, I guess.

A brilliant angel still I see inside,
A sweet apple to my eyes, you are still,
A pleasure for me to be by your side,
And be closer to you I hope I will.
