Day of Strong Goods and Near-Fatal Bads

Don't understand the title?
Well.. today had been all right, though I'm very tired.... but there were a few moments that nearly got me into deep trouble.. MAN!!
ok... let me begin...

Morning..
Drove to school.... and guess what...?
As I reached the bridge at the end of the main road at the Pujut area... I NEARLY ENDED UP KNOCKING THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME!!!
Damn it!! The cars just suddenly like... stopped!! I pushed on the brake so hard!!
When my car stopped, I was so scared that I might have hit the front car!!
but seeing the driver didn't retaliate... I figured that there was still space between the two of us...
cause if the Land Cruiser that I drove DID hit the smaller car, the driver would've definitely felt it.. undoubtedly..
I was so shakened up from that as I continued to drive...
Driving front, I was puzzled.. why did the cars all suddenly like stopped?
there was no blockage or anything.. and there were only about less than ten cars in front of me.. so why the sudden stop?? or VERY slow down...
ok.. that's one near fatal bad...

anyway.. picked up Azie.. then picked up Serena at her place at Senadin... would've went to pick up Snow too, but she messaged me earlier, saying that she'll go to Curtin earlier, so no need to...
got to work when arrived at Curtin.... at the Lecture Theater...
so much work... the projectors were not able to be turned on.. audios were not working... sheesh...
oh yeah.. Gretchel and Izzah had joined to help with the orientation as well...
well.. the new students gathered... and so it begins....
we did a few games to help energise them for the coming talks later...
it was just a quick and easy game... but unfortunately, it wasn't good enough to prepare them for the talks...

There was a promo for the special day that the Student Council had planned for them (from yesterday's meeting)... did by Snow...
I and a few of the others went around to collect the names of people joining the activities...
As I did, I went along to talk to them.. and boy it was great and enjoyable...
I can even recall chatting with some of them...
and an even sweeter memory was during lunch break, when I was even able to sit down with a few of them and just talked...
by the way, lunch time, I joined Roger, Adrian Foo, Kevin, Guan Thai, Tina, & a few other ex-high schoolmates to eat at Ciao Mien & Hot Beans, the cafe at the hostel area of Curtin...
and damned.. the food we ordered (Fried Noodle & Fried Kueh Tiaw) were just awful.... bleh!

Anyway.. afternoon, some more activities for the orientation, but not much..
Sent back Azie and came back since the orientation was not over and she had nothing else to do there...
after the orientation was over.. had some work back at the Student Service... sheesh.. so many work and errors in printing... sheesh...
then, after that was a meeting among the Student Ambassadors with Ms. Christine, the new Student Councillor...
did a little planning for the coming Foundation O-Week... but not much though...
I was able to make a suggestion that the end of the Degree O-week, that is Friday...
since the day is now free... maybe we could do some fun group activities so that they can have group performances for the coming O-Night...
this had better be done... it shouldn't be in question!! unfortunately, I feel that it is... sigh....

Anyway.. after that drove home.. my eyes were so tired... and that was led me to the second near-fatal bad... damn...
I was driving... when I was feeling sleepy... and then... I realised that my mind just went off for a split second there and MY CAR WAS ABOUT TO GO OF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quickly I regained control... thankfully.. Man.....

I definitely will need to thank all the goodness that had saved me from such trouble and danger....

Anyway... arrived home SAFELY...
showered.. and got to the tv... and took a nap on the couch... sigh... I needed it...
then Renee messaged me, saying that she needed to pass me Snow Jae's CV shirt... cause she didn't have the time to return it herself to Snow...
got to meet just now with a trouble of communications when my phone lose signal and her call couldn't get through... sheesh...
anyway.. got the shirt and I got home again...

Sigh.. got online and got e-mail from Dr. Adeline..
I forgot to mention that this morning I got to meet with her at the office, when I needed to borrow a radio for the Lecture Theater, just for back-up in case the audio system didn't work...
Then, she realised that I had been the one that sent the e-mail... and asked me to meet with her that afternoon..
since I was supposed to do something for the orientation, she then changed to tomorrow, afternoon...
that's good.. I feel I might be able to win this.. but there is a possibility that I can't win it in time to save this Orientation... hopefully that possibility is not going to be how it's going to end....
