GOOD got more points than BAD this time...

As the title would suggest... despite some bad things that happened in the last two days... overall, it was still a couple of great days...

Friday, February 25th, 2005...
No orientation activity for the day... and I got to sleep til 11am or so again.. sigh...
woke up and got to confirm with Roger to have lunch at Boulevard...
ate lunch and then we had badminton game that afternoon with Adrian, Kevin and a couple of friends they made during Orientation...
but before that, we 'wasted' some time at a little spot at the third floor of Boulevard, where there was a little.. how should I call it... an event that was meant to raise awareness of road safety amongst the young people (as in schooling children)...
There, was a lot of those quick but interesting games or such that depicts traffic safeties....
it was an all right time... got to enjoy ourselves while we were there, though around those simple, childish games...

anyway... after that, headed for badminton.... we went to the court at Pujut... I don't know the exact location...
and boy.. it was terribly hot... just... the heat was effecting my mood to play a lot... and effecting the others too....
just couldn't bother to play seriously during the matches... just too hot for me to bother.. sigh...
but two hours by, we then headed off for home...
home... I showered and got ready for tonight...
got to make plans with Izzah and some of the other ladies of CV to go out tonight and just chill...

ate a little something before it was time to go...
I drove all the way to Curtin and the Curtin Village... first to pick Izzah & Gretchel from the hostel and then to the Village to pick up some of the rest....
Stopped by there for a while... no.. a LONG while...
cause, besides Navodi, Kimmy & Serena, there were also some boys to join us... some of the new student we got to know during the last O-Week... Candy was also at Kimmy's house...
We got to talk there for quite a while... about some.. *ahem* cold treatment some of the CV members had been given during a Student Ambassador meeting that took place the day before at the Student Service...
I've no comment on it, since I wasn't there... but I heard that it was quite bad....
and it seems apparent that something's going on with the Student Ambassadors, in particular the woman who's also the Head of Student Service, aka Ms F...
no need to say more lah.. I'll see what happens next time before I go further into this...

OK... why we wait for so long, was because turned out that the boys hadn't gotten ready... and just began to when we went over to their place to tell them about it....
Izzah, Gretchel, Serena & Navodi then decided to go to Candy's place to accompany her as she changed her clothing...
while waiting for the boys, Kimmy & I just went to wait for them at her place...
we got to talk while we waited... sigh... how comfortable it is sometimes to just sit and talk...
anyway... after quite some time again, then the boys came over to meet us... Josh, Brit & Carl....

Got into my car, and then went off... decided to meet with Izzah & the others at Al Fresco later... where we'll have our dinner....
when arrived there, only realised that it was already after 9pm!! haha!
the rest of the girls then joined us and we had our somethings to eat....
more than one hour or so, we were done with our dinner and then we headed for Desserts... yes.. the ice-cream place..
there we met with a Student Council member who was with three girls, new students in the last O-Week as well...
We talked and just enjoyed each other's company..... but later, they went off to continue on with the night...
The rest of us waited there for Abel who was supposed to meet with us....
turned out he had been sleeping all the while and decided to pick up some people..KC, his gf Chu Chu, Sara, & Jenny!!
We waited half an hours or so, then they finally arrived!
we had quite a time there.. lots of good laughs... it was a yet another memorable time spent together...
I drove on home, when finally midnight and we left Desserts and headed for Cheerie Berries....
definitely couldn't spend some more time out and I headed home, after saying my goodbyes...
this day was over then... or so it seemed...


Saturday, February 26, 2005....
Morning... between 4.30 to 5am... two message woke me up... the first one from Serena got me slightly more aware from my sleep... the second from Izzah really woke me up.. haha!
I first read Izzah's message, and she thanked me for spending time with them and that it had been a great time...
Serena's message, told me about the meeting that was supposed to be today on certain things we needed to do during the coming O-week... told me to meet at Kimmy's place at 4.30pm.... ok then....
messaged her a few more times before we were done with that actually...
and yeah, that was the time that they were done clubbing and had arrived home to sleep....
Got to return to my sleep eventually, despite my thoughts of just staying up after that...

Then woke up at 11am or so again.. sigh.. been sleeping quite a lot lately... haha... catching up with my lack of sleep huh?
anyway.. lunch at home... did a little online... stopped when my brother wanted to use the computer...
So I 'wasted' my time with Shadow Hearts on the PS2... then came about 4pm, which was when I stopped and then drove off to Kimmy's place at Curtin Village....
Arrived there and surprised Kimmy who didn't know of the plan...
well... it was still not yet 4.30pm so just waited there for Serena and the others....
Kimmy & I talked some more... or.. more like she did most of the talking.. I just listened most of the time.... hahah!
It was long while later, before Serena arrived there...... we all got to talk for a while...
however, there was a short period of despair somewhere during our time.... I was quite petrified...
didn't know what I should do... I knew I should comfort her... but should I... when she finally blurted out, I just went over and place my arm on her shoulder, trying to comfort her....
she broke into tears... I just let her cry there, without saying anything... and soon enough, she stopped herself... and told us two that she was all right....
it was that time, that Izzah called for me to pick her & Gretchel up from the hostel... which I accepted gladly...
picking the two up, they wanted to buy something to eat from the DPS area....
after a long while before we got the food, then went to Kimmy's place...
the two ate while we discussed a little on our meeting agenda... after quite some time later, we decided to have the meeting outside...
and since it was coming night already, we were quickly swarmed by lots and lots of mosquitoes... I took the initiation to take off my shoe and knock them out of the air and squash them... and I have to say.. I got to kill a lot at the time alone that that particular area of the patio had practically became a mosquito graveyard... haha!
ahahaha... and that idea somehow got into our ideas during our meeting and we were laughing SO much as we discussed... sigh....
our laughter just kept continuing even as we headed to that same coffee shop that we went earlier to buy something to eat... this time, only Serena, Kimmy & I ate.... for dinner....
arriving there, we encountered Jenny, Jessie & Yogesh and also some of the new students, Brit, Josh, V, Carl & another one which I forgotten the name (sorry!)...
they'd already eaten so they all left earlier.... while me and the four girls were laughing our heads off while the three of us ate...
I laughed so much that I couldn't finish my meal.. sigh.... those girls.... Britney Spears and mosquitoes just seem to be such a big part of our conversation... hahah!

after that, when it started to drizzle, we thought to head back quickly, since Kimmy still had her laundry out...
but as we drove, she decided that it was too late to bother, then went to Serena's place to get some pillows and stuffs, since the three girls were staying over at Kimmy's....
It was a fun though short 'road trip' between Serena's to Kimmy's....
When arrived there, I got to stick around with the girls.... It was already passed 9.30pm, so they were convincing me to go home, so as not to get into trouble with my mother...
I was reluctant since I would like to spend some more time with them... but then again, I thought that there was nothing more for me to do with them really... since the meeting was already done with.... mainly... I suppose...
the girls then finally convinced me to go... as I drove off, they sent me off.. hahah...
it was one definite memorable time, well spent, with them...

and once back home... showered and then came online... and did this blog entry...
tomorrow, I've confirmed, I won't be working... yay.. more time to sleep.. hahaha...
tomorrow, think I'll be mostly bored... just playing online or on the PS2 mainly, most likely... sigh...

(This is undoubtedly true... and I believe this very much... plus, laughing should help with your abdominal muscles as laughing requires that part of your muscles... I believe....
just don't laugh so much until you can't breath... [wink] )
